Bizarre conspiracy theory claiming Taylor Swift is working with George Soros to get her music catalog back resurfaces

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Conservative commentator Laura Loomer has ignited a bizarre conspiracy theory that has gained traction on social media.

Loomer's unfounded claims link singer Taylor Swift, billionaire philanthropist George Soros, Covid vaccines, and a supposed plot to influence the 2024 Presidential election.

Loomer posted a provocative theory on X, "Has @taylorswift13 made a deal with George Soros and Alex Soros to get the rights to her music back in exchange for getting Zoomers registered to vote Democrat against President Trump ahead of the 2024 Presidential election?"

The theory hinges on Swift's recent efforts to encourage voter registration, including a significant Instagram post that reportedly led to over 40,000 new voter registrations.

Loomer's theory becomes increasingly convoluted as she mentions Taylor's alleged relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, insinuating that he is involved in promoting Covid vaccines to young people despite unsubstantiated claims about "who take the vaccine are developing myocarditis and dropping dead from health issues like cardiac arrest."

These baseless allegations emerged following Taylor's efforts to boost voter engagement.

On National Voter Registration Day, Taylor's endorsement led to a substantial increase in new voter registrations.

"Look what @taylorswift13 made us do!" vote.org tweeted last week. "During the day on #NVRD we saw a 1226% jump in participation the hour after Taylor Swift posted. She truly made the whole (voter registration) place shimmer."

Loomer continued to weave her conspiracy theory by asserting that, "The Eras global tour that Taylor Swift is currently on is supposed to be a tour featuring *all* of her albums...However, she has lamented in the past that Alex Soros and George Soros bought the rights to her music and her first 6 Albums when @scooterbraun sold it to a private equity firm tied to the Soros family for $300 MILLION."

In another post, Loomer added, "@taylorswift13 also just launched a world tour, and after she travels the world this year, she's coming back to the US right before the US elections for what looks to be her version of an October surprise. She spending 3 days in Miami, FL in the last week of October 2024 where she will likely make a big push to get people to the polls. Don't be surprised if you see @GavinNewsom and @MichelleObama on stage with her in Miami in 2024." 

Loomer's theory takes a disturbing turn as she suggests that Taylor is lying to young people, alleging that they are being "programmed by communist propaganda" and will suffer health issues like myocarditis due to the Covid vaccine.

Internet users were taken aback by the wild theories circulating about Taylor Swift. A user tweeted, "You are on the something..." Another claimed, "What platform is this novel available on."

A third added, "If the Taylor Swift + Soros deal included her getting rights back to her music it stands as one of the biggest ironies of modern music history. Selling out on a whole new level."

A user tweeted, "BIG IF TRUE." Another claimed, "You just figured it all out. I hadn’t quite put it together but I remember her saying Soros bought her music. This is definitely what is happening. It was a deal with the devil, just not Moloch… Soros."
