'Biography: WWE Legends': Nikki and Brie Bella documentary inspires and makes fans cry

'The Bella twins biography was so inspirational. It made me cry in a great way,' wrote one fan

Brie and Nikki Bella's journey from waitresses to WWE stars has been inspiring. The duo, who had a successful run in WWE as ‘The Bella Twins,’ shared some barrier breaking moments during the third episode of season 2 of A&E’s ‘Biography: WWE Legends’. “We were entering a whole new group of women, and dealing with TV time and money... If you look at television, there's probably 10 different segments, maybe 12. But there's only one for women. And that's a lot of women fighting for a spot," said Brie, who added they were quite nervous before their debut on the August 29, 2008 episode of 'SmackDown', with Brie taking on former WWE star Victoria, and spoke how women back then had to fight for a spot to be on TV.

The 38-year-old WWE wrestler Nikki, who was in news lately for sharing the real reason for her break-up with John Cena, took to Instagram to share the glimpse of the episode. She wrote, “Well here we go…. Thank you for being apart of our journey… for motivating us to work harder, to wipe our tears and get up and fight, thank you for always supporting us. And helping us break barriers that needed to be broken.” Nikki and Brie, who have inspired millions of fans with their vulnerability and who bagged the 'WWE Divas Championship' along with 'WWE Hall of Fame in 2020' during their careers, told People that they want the fans to see how they were able to overcome the pain and use it "just put into wrestling and just kind of survive out of that.”

Fans share heartfelt messages

The episode gave fans an insight of ups and downs of the twins’ journey and their impact on the WWE Universe. Fans couldn’t help but praise the women for breaking all the barriers as they expressed their thoughts on the documentary. One fan wrote, "This is a really great episode so far. The Bella twins have gone through a lot which I learned through this biography. I give both of them a lot of credit for their courage, strength, and determination." Another called the documentary inspiring and said, "@BellaTwins The Bella twins biography was so inspirational. The past is the past, and the future is right now. The Bella twins are such amazing moms. It made me tear up a little bit. The Bella twins are such amazing inspirations. #BellaArmyforever."

A single dad of a three-year-old girl said, "@BellaTwins Just finished watching Biography: The Bella Twins with my 3 year old daughter. As a single dad, I need to show her good female role models.
