Bindi, Terri and Robert Irwin host gala dinner in LA to celebrate Steve's legacy
The gala that was exclusively held at the SLS Hotel saw the family honor the legacy and life of original Wildlife Warrior - Steve 'Crocodile Hunter' Irwin. This annual event also included a preview of the second season of the family reality TV show Crikey! It's the Irwins.
Steve 'Crocodile Hunter' Irwin's family has proudly carried on his legacy ever since he was tragically killed by a stingray's barb around 12 years ago.
On Saturday, Steve's family, Bindi, Terri, and Robert Irwin hosted a gala dinner in his honor at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. After appearing on the red carpet the family revealed a preview of season 2 of their reality TV show titled 'Crikey! It's the Irwins.'
They swapped their khakis for some more elegant evening wear. Steve's daughter 20-year-old Bindi, looked elegant in a white frock detailed with black floral prints. She had her brunette hair in wavy locks and was wearing minimal makeup. Her brother 15-year-old Robert looked charming in his white dress shirt and a black suit. He paired it with smart shoes and a bow tie. Their mother 54-year-old Terri wore a black high-neck top tucked into a floral skirt. She accessorized her outfit with a matching floral clutch.
Apart from the family, Bindi's American wakeboarder boyfriend, 22-year-old Chandler Powell was also present at the gala. Powell looked dapper in a black shirt, suit jacket, a navy blue bow tie, tan pants and a pair of shoes.

The show revolves around the family's conservation work with wildlife from all around the globe. Prior to the event, Bindi took to her Instagram profile informing fans that she would keep them updated on the gala's proceedings.
"Tonight we are celebrating the #SteveIrwinGalaDinner in the City of Angels,' she wrote. 'We're remembering Dad's life and legacy through his extraordinary work and with our non-profit organization. We'll be swapping khaki to embrace a little glam!" she wrote in her post.
A number of other celebrities attended the gala as they posed in the best outfits on the red carpet. Hugh Hefner's widow Crystal Hefner, model turned actress Ellie Gonsalves, Australian Idol star Dean Geyer were among the guests at the gala
