Billie Eilish believes Trump will be reelected in 2020: 'Some people just love horrible people'
Singer Billie Eilish, 17, is of the opinion that POTUS Donald Trump will likely be re-elected in 2020 and says the thought breaks her heart.
The 'Bad Guy' singer who will be able to vote for the first time next year revealed that she has plans to stay engaged with politics.
"I’m pretty worried about [2020]. I think stupid Trump is probably going to get reelected, and that makes my heart break. You know, some people just love horrible people. It’s weird," she said, reported Los Angeles Times.
She added that she does have some plans to do her research but is not too sure how she'll vote in 2020.
"I think it’s so funny when a lot of adults think that they know what’s right," she said.
Eilish revealed that she is registering voters as well as has eco-activism booths at every show on her national tour with the hopes of getting youngsters involved.
She has been called an 'anti-pop' singer who enjoys writing provocative music with songs such as 'Bury a Friend' and 'Ocean Eyes'.
Very recently, Eilish was called out by Lady Gaga fans and followers who objected to her comments about Gaga's raw meat outfit which she had worn to the 2010 VMAs.
The 17-year-old had said 'yikes' while talking about the raw meat outfit. While many agreed with Eilish's comments, others slammed her for making them.
Gaga's fans took to Twitter to criticize Eilish along with the hashtag #BillieEilishIsOverParty and also called the singer "ignorant" for criticizing the dress.
One of Lady Gaga's fan pages read, "And why she gives her thoughts? Who cares? Does anyone need Billie’s like to do whatever they want ? Go home little girl you’ll be never that legendary."
"Because she's dumb and ignorant. That dress has more substance than her entire career. You all don't know that because what do we expect from basic rats with basic taste?" another fan added.
