Billie Eilish and BF Jesse Rutherford don low-key look at Coachella after Labrinth performance
INDIO, CALIFORNIA: On the third day of the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, Billie Eilish and her boyfriend Jesse Rutherford was seen enjoying the event. The couple, who reportedly knew each other for six years before starting their romance in October, explored the festival's various stages.
Eilish, a 21-year-old singer-songwriter known for her album 'Happier Than Ever,' sported black shorts, an NWA T-shirt, and leather combat boots. To maintain some level of anonymity, she wore a black-and-white baseball cap and dark sunglasses and even covered her head with a black fleece at times. Meanwhile, Jesse, the lead singer of 'The Neighborhood,' donned camouflage pants, a black cut-off t-shirt, matching sneakers, and a baseball cap over his short hair. Despite the scorching temperatures which rose to the 80s Fahrenheit, Eilish seemed to be in great spirits, as evidenced by her big, beaming smile while checking out the festival's more than 150 artists across six stages.

Eilish joins Labrinth for a surprise performance
During the previous night of the Coachella festival, Eilish surprised the crowd by joining Labrinth's set. They performed their recent collaborative single, 'Never Felt So Alone,' which was co-produced by Eilish's brother, Finneas. According to Pitchfork, the song premiered on the hit HBO drama series 'Euphoria,' in which Labrinth scores musically.
This is not the first time that Labrinth and Eilish have performed together. They previously sang 'Never Felt So Alone' at one of Eilish's concerts in Inglewood, California, last December. Last year, the Los Angeles native headlined both weekends of Coachella, and she kicked off her Happier Than Ever World Tour shortly after. Although the tour still has five more concerts scheduled in August, Eilish took the time to attend this year's Coachella festival as a spectator, enjoying the music and taking in the festival's vibrant atmosphere.
Inside Eilish and Rutherford's relationship
Eilish and Rutherford first met each other around five years ago when she was 16 years old. According to Elle, they decided to take their relationship to the next level and become romantic partners last fall. In October 2022, they were photographed making out together and later went Instagram official on Halloween.
They even poked fun at the critics of their 10-year age gap by dressing up in costumes that highlighted their difference. Rutherford dressed up as an old man, while Eilish dressed up as a baby. During that same week, the couple was spotted together on multiple occasions, including a dinner date. On November 5, 2022, Eilish and Rutherford made their public debut as a couple at the 11th Annual LACMA Art + Film Gala, wrapped in a blanket and wearing matching Gucci pajamas.
