The season premiere of FOX’s brand new reality show ‘The Masked Dancer’ continued for the group B on January 6, 2021, where we saw masked celebrities dressed up in the characters of Ice Cube, Sloth, Cotton Candy, Zebra and Miss Moth. After all the stunning performances by the contestants, the character of Ice Cube, unfortunately, headed back home as he got the least amount of votes on the episode.
During the mask-off, it was later revealed that the celebrity under the huge mask of Ice Cube was none other than Bill Nye, the science guy. He had performed on the postmodern jukebox version of Lady Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’ and out of all the panelists, it was Ken Jeong who guessed it correctly after picking all the right clues broadcasted during the episode. Speaking to TV Insider on why he said yes to ‘The Masked Dancer,’ he revealed, “Because of the pandemic, it took quite a while for the thing to materialize. I like to go dancing. I go swing dancing a couple of nights a week-before the pandemic. If there's a chance to dance, I would take it. It was cool.”

He is popularly known as ‘Bill Nye the Science Guy,’ which is also the name of his very famous show televised from 1993 to 1998.
