Britney Spears' memoir 'The Woman in Me' will be released on October 24. But before that, several excerpts of her memoir have been revealed 'teasing' fans with some of the biggest bombshell revelations about the pop star's private life. And there are some doozies — from her "first kiss" with Justin Timberlake to being "fat shamed" by her father Jamie Spears.
Britney Spears' first kiss with Justin Timberlake was a 'dare'
Britney Spears met her star ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake while they were a part of the cast of 'The Mickey Mouse Club'. Her first kiss with Timberlake was "dare," as she wrote, "[Once] at a sleepover, we played Truth or Dare, and someone dared Justin to kiss me. A Janet Jackson song was playing in the background as he leaned in and kissed me," per PEOPLE.
Britney Spears had to abort Justin Timberlake's baby in 2000
Spears not only recounted her rosy days with the 'Palmer' actor, but also a "difficult" decision she had to take. In 2000, she had to "abort" their baby. She recounted, “It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy,” before adding, “I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated. But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young," per W Magazine.
Britney and her mother Lynne Spears were 'daiquiri' buddies
Spears narrated her "bonding" moments with her mother Lynne Spears during childhood, "For fun, starting when I was in eighth grade, my mom and I would make the two-hour drive from Kentwood to Biloxi, Mississippi, and while we were there, we would drink daiquiris. When Spears was placed under her father Jamie Spears' conservatorship, she recalled, "I became a robot. But not just a robot — a sort of child-robot. I had been so infantilized that I was losing pieces of what made me feel like myself." Britney wrote, "The conservatorship stripped me of my womanhood, made me into a child.
