Hip-hop and style is something which goes hand-in-hand and Big Sean seems to follow the mantra quite evidently as most recently the Detroit rapper debuted his new look on his official Twitter account. The 32-year-old hip-hop artist shared two pictures on his Twitter wall where he can be seen flaunting his new afro hair.

Sharing the pictures with his close to 15 million followers on the micro-blogging site, he captioned the post, “Ima keep growin.” The ‘Finally Famous’ hitmaker looked dapper in a khaki outfit as he posed for the camera. The rapper had been showing-off his braids off-late but looks like he finally decided to rock the afro hair after a long time.

The social media was quick to react to Big Sean’s new look where the majority of them trolled him for his afro hair. One user tweeted, “Keep growin bro..you might turn into a mini O.G. Tookie Williams.”  One expressed, “Big Sean hair got him looking like Afro Thunder from Ready 2 Rumble.” Another added, “Almost every artist is growing long hairs now, what's going on? Is there something you guys ain't telling us?” One individual got curious about rapper’s hair growth and asked, “Mayne what you and Chico bean been putting in y’all hair to get it to grow like this.” Another stated, “Big Sean look like that man that play in them movies that be acting crazy with that Afro.” One shared, “Thought you was Ludacris with his afro.”

For the unversed, Afro-textured hair is the natural hair texture of certain populations in Africa and the African diaspora. Each strand of this hair type grows in a tiny, angle-like helix shape. The overall effect is such that, compared to straight, wavy or curly hair, afro-textured hair appears denser.

On the work front, Big Sean had dropped his latest album, ‘Detroit 2’, on September 4, 2020. The fifth album from the Grammy-nominated rapper featured hip-hop stalwarts like Eminem, Royce da 5'9”, Dwele, Post Malone, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Lil Wayne, Diddy, Kash Doll, and Nipsey Hussle. ‘Detroit 2’ debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 with which became Sean's third US number-one debut and his seventh top-10 album.
