Big Ed continues to astonish fans in unexpected ways. He and his fiancee Elizabeth "Liz" Woods attended an open house in a preview clip from the December 4 episode of '90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?' as the couple tried to figure out their future. When Big Ed and Liz meet their realtor at the potential property, he immediately bragged about his design skills. "I actually have a background in design and architecture," Big Ed explained. "So when I told you I was looking at mid-century, I kind of meant it," he added. Big Ed is an interior designer. Who would have guessed?

After making a joke about "bathing" in the kitchen's deep sink, Big Ed added that he and Liz had a disagreement regarding the latter's lack of expertise on the matter. "Design is really important to me and it's a side of me that Liz is getting accustomed to," Big Ed confessed. "For example, she still calls a 'sofa' a ‘couch,' which drives me nuts," he added. Viewers may not completely get the distinction, but they'll have to accept Big Ed's word for it!
Big Ed's design brain goes into overdrive as they made their way upstairs and into the bedrooms. "This could be a slider," he said to Liz, who seemed unconcerned. "It could even be like a muted glass," said Big Ed. It turns out, is really enthusiastic about glass. "For me, design materials are really important," he confessed. "They're paramount. I'm looking for metal, wood, glass. Lots of glass. I like the mid-century modern feel. Not too cold, but a nice balance," Big Ed added.
Liz, on the other hand, told Big Ed, "I'd be fine with a treehouse if I could just have a house." Big Ed's enthusiasm about the house and its glass is dashed when the realtor informs the pair that the asking price is $1.295 million. "I have enough to put 20% down, but not on 1.2, unfortunately," he explained. "This would be a stretch," he added. Big Ed remained undeterred and pledged to "keep looking."
