SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA: Usman "Sojaboy" Umar's urgent request to adopt shocks Kim Menzies, who is 'not prepared' after the tragic loss in her life. While some fans call out Usman for springing such a huge decision on her out of nowhere and others feel Kim is being selfish for not being flexible with Usman's ideas.

On the latest episode of '90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?' Kim dealt with the emotional turmoil of a family loss, while fiance Usman hinted at the possibility of adding a new member. On Sunday's episode, the 52-year-old struggled to fathom how her new family would appear after telling Usman, "I'm worried about our future." Rather than listening, he dropped a bombshell: "I feel like maybe I'm going to adopt." "What? What? Are you joking right now?" Kim inquired.

"If getting a second wife is something that can't happen, I think adopting my nephew Mahadi would be the best idea," Usman stated.

The couple has wrestled with the reality of having kids, which Kim's age complicates — but Usman's mom demands. They had decided that Usman would marry a second woman solely for the purpose of bearing kids. However, a lawyer advised them that, while this is permissible in his native nation of Nigeria, it would jeopardize his ability to obtain a visa in the United States. So Usman decided to have a family by adopting Mohammed's son from his brother.

Kim was first opposed to the idea, stating, "So your brother gives you his baby. What? Then who the f**k raises his child?"

"I'm asking, do you want to raise him?" Usman responded.

"No, I'm too old," Kim responded. "I don't know if I want to raise another child, like I raised mine, you know what I'm saying?"

The call concluded with the pair agreeing to discuss further the issues at hand, but Kim was less enthusiastic later in a confessional, stating, "I'm in total shock. Like, this is a WTF moment."

Seeing Kim's reaction to the whole adoption idea, a fan quipped, "Kim is like who is adopting a child? Who is we?" Some fans also slammed Usman for the way he threw the idea onto Kim, "Usman sprung that adoption idea out of nowhere on Kim!!" On the other hand, calling out Kim, a fan wrote, "I don’t get how Kim thinks she can really be with Usman in the US if he has a child at all whether he adopts or does the second wife plan. You really want to take this man and have him leave a child in Africa?" Another fan added, "So Kim thought she would marry a young guy & not expect to be involved in raising the kids from his second wife?"

Some fans further slammed Kim writing, "Kim would rather be a sister wife than adopt a child? Why do these 90 day cast members want to marry someone who they know want a child when they don't?" Calling the whole arrangement selfish, a fan wrote, "Usman making arrangements so he doesn’t have to take a second wife and Kim acting dumb af is annoying. You married this young ass man and he wants children. It’s giving selfish as f*ck." Some fans are not holding back from calling out Usman's tactics either, "All of this time you were saying you have to have a child, now you bring up adoption. Usman is working overtime to get to the US." Another fan suggested, "Kimbally should just move on and find a man her age. She doesn’t want Usman having kids, adopting or otherwise. So what’s the point?"
