'Big Brother' Season 26 Week 3 HOH Cedric Hodges requested houseguests to become his pawn

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Big Brother' Season 26 star Cedric Hodges has recently replaced Chelsie Baham from the 'Head Of House' spot after he won 'Ainsley Land'. Cedric has recently kicked off his reign and has already recently been backlash for his 'worst' gameplay.

During the episode, Cedric repeated last week's nominations and put Angela Murray, Kenny Kelly, and Tucker Des Lauriers up for eviction. He notably wanted to save his own Collective alliance and assured the houseguests including Kimo, Cam, Chelsie, Joseph, T'Kor, and Quinn that they would not be evicted during his reign.

Angela was a former member of Cedric's alliance but, she insisted the HOH nominate her in the very beginning so she would have two chances to save herself, the Power of Veto challenge and the Al Arena competition and Cedric notably obliged. Additionally, Cedric went on to almost every houseguest asking them to be his pawn but he got only rejection.

The new HOH's move was highly criticized on social media with one X user tweeting, "Oh Cedric, what a waste of an HOH and week." Another person added, "I'm not understanding Cedric's HoH strategy lol." Another internet user penned, "Cedric is missing the point of his HoH cuz he’s campaigning to find a pawn."

Another viewer said, "Cedric should have put up Angela, Leah and Mackenzy. Flush out that power and blindside Leah, if she doesn’t win veto. Pentagon can get Mackenzy out next week." Another critic wrote, "Really, Cedric? You just thought EVERYONE would volunteer to be a nominee like Kenney did? Do you go fishing and expect the trout to jump into the boat?"

'Big Brother' Season 26 star Cedric Hodges alongside other houseguests recently competed in life-sized game pieces on the 'Ainsley Land' board. The players needed to race around the multiple balance beam paths to earn the HOH spot. T'Kor Clottey went first and set a top score of 9 points in 42.77 seconds.

Quinn Martin beat T'Kor's record and earned 18 points in just 42.69 seconds. Meanwhile, Kimo Apaka, Cam Sullivan-Brown, Brooklyn Rivera, Rubina Bernabe, Joseph Rodriguez, and Angela Murray failed to beat Quinn. Makensy Manbeck was just a few seconds away from breaking Quinn's record but fell and lost to him. However, Cedric secured a new top score of 27 in 44.38 seconds and won the HOH spot.

Who was eliminated in 'Big Brother' Season 26 Week 2?

'Big Brother' Season 26 houseguest Lisa Weintraub was shockingly eliminated by 11 votes. During the previous eviction, HOH Chelsie Baham nominated Angela Murray, Kenny Kelly, and Tucker Des Lauriers on the block for the eviction.

However, Kenny saved himself by winning the Power of Veto and Tucker skipped the eviction by winning the Al Arena competition. Chelsie then nominated Lisa to compete with Angela in the bottom. Surprisingly, Angela closely escaped danger and received just one vote against her leaving Lisa vulnerable.
