Season 22 of the show has come under heavy criticism recently as many people have complained about a lack of representation. With only a couple of people of color, the fans felt only a particular 'group of people' had been running the game. Recently, Christmas Abbott was criticized for putting Bayleigh Dayton and Da'Vonne Rogers on the block.

Fans thought she purposefully put two Black women on the block. Even though Christmas tried to justify her decision, the fans were not impressed. As the show progressed, the hatred of people towards the show started growing when they thought Tyler Crispen had used Black Lives Matter in a bid to make himself look good.

When Bayleigh and Da'Vonne were on the block, he offered to take one of their places as he felt bad about throwing them under the bus. While he seemed too sure about his decision, things changed when he found out that Bayleigh did not trust him despite his offer of making a big sacrifice. This made fans anger and they questioned if he had played out an act to gain popularity.

In the latest episode (September 13), Kevin "KC" Campbell spoke about being glad to have a platform like the big brother. Opening up about his life outside the house, Kevin revealed that he was often bullied for being too feminine. Due to this, he thought that Big Brother was the perfect platform for representation and allow people to see an LGBTQ+ representation. Kevin also spoke about being a motivation for other "little Kevins" and giving them a chance to realize that it is okay to be who you are. He admitted that big brother allowed him to use his voice and be the representation that people needed.

While he thought that the show was doing a good job in representation, fans disagreed. "Kevin is so annoying. CBS does NOT do a good job of representation," read one comment. "This show represents 97% white people, 2% black people, and 1% gay people #bb22 Kevin what representation r u referring to," said another.

"What representation has @CBSBigBrother ever had? It’s ALWAYS been predominantly white and heterosexual. Kevin, please STOP," stated another. "What representation is Kevin talking about? He must be watching a different Big Brother..." another joked while trying to make a point. "Kevin: I became obsessed with this show because of the representation it has offered Me: Where," wrote another.

'Big Brother' season 22 airs on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8 pm ET on CBS.
