MURRAYFIELD, SCOTLAND: Beyonce spent almost $2,492 on Nando's takeaway on Saturday, May 20, while she continued the UK leg of her Renaissance world tour. The 'Beautiful Liar' singer treated her entourage by taking them to the flame-grilled peri-peri style chicken restaurant prior to her live performance in Murrayfield, Scotland.
According to Daily Mail, the 41-year-old received a flabbergasting bill of more than $2,242 for ordering 110 chicken burgers, 90 pitas, and nine chicken thighs. Beyonce's recent Instagram post
The 'Single Ladies' star turned up the glamour of the social media platform earlier this week by posting a series of Instagram pictures that showed her in a diamond-studded black minidress alongside Jay-Z. Beyonce and her better half, who recently spent a whopping amount of $200 million to buy California's most expensive residence, are presently in England to launch the UK leg of her Renaissance world tour.
It does not require any special mention that her post did not require any caption as she sported the details of her dazzling look. The singer-songwriter also wore shimmering pink eyeshadow and a glossed pout with her hair styled down in curled waves. She showed off her cleavage in the low-cut off-the-shoulder design and carried a complementing handbag.
The singer's jaw-dropping post came just after she dropped a surprise remix of her hit track 'America Has A Problem' featuring Kendrick Lamar. Although the remix's original dance beat is the same, Lamar's rapid-fire verse comes on quick and strong in the new version.
Beyonce kicked off her live performance with a bang
Beyonce kicked off her UK gig with a mighty bang the previous week as she rocked the city's Principality Stadium with a series of megahits in the presence of a massive audience of 74,000. The songs she performed include 'Formation', 'Run The World (Girls)', and 'Love on Top' while opening with a stratospheric mash-up of 'Dangerously In Love', 'Flaws And All', and '1+1'.
The singer wore glittering catsuits and epic metallic corsets and barely-there mini-dresses by a slew of designers including Alexander McQueen, Loewe, and David Koma. Beyonce, who is famous for her energetic performances, has recently been more restrained by taking more breaks. Despite fans being upset by her lack of dance moves, the singer has silenced her critics with her performances.
It has also been reported that Beyonce travels with a body double who steps in during rehearsals to show the pop star what her dance moves look like from the audience's perspective.
Beyonce's performances have received impressive ratings
The mother of three's performance was given a five-star rating by The Guardian's Malcolm Jack and The New York Times' Alex Marshall praised the singer for her LGBT-positive performance. Forbes has revealed that Beyonce's Renaissance World Tour could out-earn Taylor Swift's successful Eras Tour by a whopping $600 million.
