Ben Stiller attends Emmy Awards with ex-wife Christine Taylor despite calling it quits in 2017 after 18 years of marriage
Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor, who split in 2017, were seen attending the Emmys together on Sunday.
The pair who were together for 18 years before calling it quits were all smiles as they posed for pictures together on the red carpet, People reports.
48-year-old Taylor was draped in a blue gown with beaded detailing while her 53-year-old former husband rocked a classic black suit.
Stiller attended the event as he was nominated for directing the limited series 'Escape at Dannemora'.
This isn't the first time the pair have stepped out together following their separation, according to People. They were spotted with their kids in New York City while attending 'Pretty Woman: The Musical' on Broadway in April this year.
At the time, the family posed backstage for a smiling shot with Andy Karl, who played the role inspired by Richard Gere in the 1990 movie, as well as Orfeh, his wife and costar, who played the role of Kit De Luca, which was Laura San Giacomo’s character in the film.
“It was a sweet family night out,” an observer told the outlet then. “The kids were glowing because they all love the theater, and Ben and Christine looked happy together, smiling and laughing and holding hands, especially during intermission. They seemed to really love the show and being around one another.”
Stiller and Taylor first met on the set of a TV pilot titled 'Heat Vision and Jack' before eventually tying the knot in May 2000. The couple has two children: 17-year-old daughter Ella and 14-year-old son Quinlin.
"With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate,” the pair said in a statement to Page Six following their split. “Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time.”
