In photos taken on Friday, November 20, Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas were spotted passionately kissing and hugging on a New Orleans balcony. Ben, 48, and Ana, 32, returned to the set of ‘Deep Water’ (where they met for the first time) for some reshoots as they were spotted showing off affection for each other.
The 'Knives Out' star wore a beige chunky-knit sweater and jeans with her hair pulled up in a bun as she sat on a railing. She was also seen with a huge diamond ring on her left hand, but it is not clear if it is part of her costume for the film. 'The Argo' director, on the other hand, sported a black sweater and matching pants as he was spotted smoking a cigarette and sharing a laugh with his girlfriend. The duo were pictured together for the first time in over a month, quashing any hint of a rumor they might have split. In exclusive photos obtained by The Daily Mail, the couple left no room for doubt that they're still crazy about each other as they put on a passionate display of affection.
The duo met while filming for the psychological thriller in November 2019 and they quarantined together in California amid the coronavirus pandemic. Their relationship progressed quickly and the couple went public with their romance shortly after. A source told Us Magazine that the co-stars were already “so in love”. “Ben is very supportive of Ana and tells her how amazing she is,” the insider explained in April. “Ana’s friends are constantly telling her how lucky she is to have Ben and think he is so charming, cool and fun. They’re so happy for her.”
Affleck, 47, shares three children — Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and Samuel, 8 — with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. They were married for a decade before they decided to divorce. Us Weekly reported that Garner is happy for her ex-husband and supportive of his and Ana's relationship. "Jen has completely moved on from Ben in a romantic sense. She considers him a friend, thinks he is a good dad to their children and respects him. She is happy in her own life and supportive of him and happy for him and his relationship," the insider said. Meanwhile, another source for the outlet revealed that Ana is extremely happy in the relationship. "Ana is very happy with Ben. She loves spending time with him and they have great chemistry and a lot of fun together," the source said.
The couple made their relationship official on Instagram on April 30, 2020. After celebrating her 32nd birthday, Ana posted a series of snaps that included a selfie with Ben and another photo of the two of them hugging. "Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes and love," she wrote in the caption. "Cheers to another great year."
Us Weekly also reported that Ana was totally smitten by Ben, who left no stone unturned in making her his priority even while juggling other aspects of his life. "(Ana) thinks Ben is such a sweet and nice guy," a source told Us Weekly. "(She) admires how he juggles so much between work, his kids, and co-parenting with Jen." Ben also "splits his time (between Ana and his family) and, as always, the kids are the most important thing in his life," according to the insider.
Still, he "always makes sure he has time for (Ana) and that she is number one," the source continued. "They are having so much fun together and she has been telling her friends how Ben is the most amazing boyfriend she's ever had." The source also told the outlet: "He really just wants her to be happy and is always doing thoughtful gestures. Ana is also very attracted to Ben and thinks he's so cute. They're in a great place."
