'Below Deck' alum Kate Chastain fuels rumors about Jason Chambers and Lala Kent dating after BravoCon appearance
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Even though Jason Chambers tried to keep his relationship with Lala Kent under wraps, another Bravo star may have just blown their cover if the captain is actually dating her. Fans were left wanting more information after 'Below Deck' star Kate Chastain appeared to confirm the couple's relationship.
On November 6, 'Vanderpump Rules' star Lala took to Instagram to share a cozy picture with 'Below Deck Down Under' captain Jason from the iconic BravoCon 2023. Even though there wasn't much to read from the caption, which simply said, "Day 3," Lala had one hand on Jason's chest while the captain's hand was around her waist.
All hell broke loose when 'Below Deck' alum Kate dropped a comment, "POWER COUPLE," further adding to fans' speculations about the alleged couple.
As an Instagram post highlighted Kate's comment, fans of the stars took to the comment section to express their surprise. One wrote, "Oh no! Captain is going to need more than a life jacket to save himself from this one.🛳️." Another person chimed in, "I hate and love this."
One fan also noted, "Nope, this is NOT IT." While a fourth person asked, "Oh god seriously??."
Yet another person noted, "Lindsays gonna be pissssssed," while another wondered, "Wait but didn’t Caroline Brooks from Dubai say she kissed him the other night?"
Some also commented, "Their energies are too different. He is so nice and kind. She’s volatile." "One of the few people I respected in the bravo world…gone," wrote another.
'Below Deck' captain Jason Chambers plays it cool when asked about 'Vanderpump Rules' star Lala Kent
Captain Jason isn't quite ready to set sail with Lala Kent yet. When Page Six asked the attractive captain if he had a crush on the 33-year-old 'Vanderpump Rules' star, he played coy at BravoCon on November 4 — but he did share insight into their prior contacts.
"We have met. "We have exchanged... we have communicated," he replied with a grin.
His primary stew, Aesha Scott, may have disclosed his genuine sentiments about rumors of him dating Lala, telling the outlet that he would "la la love some Lala." Jason laughed along with his co-star.
'Below Deck' captain Jason Chambers kisses 'RHODubai' star Caroline Brooks at BravoCon 2023
During the BravoCon 2023 weekend in Las Vegas, E! News obtained exclusive information about some PDA between The Real Housewives of Dubai's Caroline Brooks and Jason.
"I've already gotten in a little bit of trouble last night," Caroline exclusively revealed to E! News' The Rundown's Erin Lim Rhodes on November 3, adding, "He kissed me. I guess I got lucky."
Chanel Aydin of 'RHODubai' chipped in, saying her BFF is "already in love" with the captain after their Sin City kiss.
And, according to Caroline, Jason was the one who made the initial move. "He was flirting with me first, so I flirted back," the 34-year-old said of their kiss. "I went in for the Dubai double, and then he went straight for the middle. And I was like, 'Hello! Hi! Welcome to Las Vegas.'"
She did, however, explain, "There was no tongue, it was just a peck."
Jason also gave his view on the flirtatious exchange. "She was wonderful," the Australian native told E! News' Francesca Amiker during the event on November 4. "It was a goodbye kiss."
Though he was vague about the PDA, he did state, "She's absolutely gorgeous" and praise her parenting, adding, "And she's got a beautiful child too. I delved into the conversations.."
Following Caroline's disclosure that Jason had sent her a DM the morning following their encounter, Jason revealed he wrote to the spa owner, "Lovely to meet you last night."

Captain Jason is thinking about a couple of Bravo stars. At 2023 BravoCon, the 'Below Deck' star spoke with Access Hollywood and replied to Andy Cohen's attempt to hook him up with Luann De Lesseps.
"I think Andy is trying to set everyone up with me," he explained to Access before disclosing which Bravo celebs he is interested in. "There's Olivia Flowers, there's Lala," he went on to say.
