Crazy TikTok challenges are one of the most popular trends on the platform, often challenging users to push their creativity or endurance to the limit. From dancing in public places to recreating silly poses, these challenges can be entertaining and hilarious to watch.

However, some may argue that they can also encourage dangerous or inappropriate behavior. Students have been taking various items from their schools, such as soap dispensers, as part of a current TikTok trend known as the school bathroom challenge.

TikTok School Bathroom Challenge

Students are increasingly stealing unrelated items from their school bathrooms, such as soap and toilet paper dispensers. Some students have even gone as far as taking entire sinks, tiles, and even other equipment like computers and printers.

One school has advised students to ‘stop this behavior now’ and warned them that there will be penalties if they continue to participate in the challenge.

Reactions

Social media users are urging people to cease partaking in the fad on sites like Twitter. Many people have reported that certain restrooms at their schools have been shut down as a result.

“To any of my supporters who work in public spaces, WATCH OUT FOR YOUR BATHROOMS! People are being challenged to steal from and/or ruin stuff in public restrooms as part of a TikTok joke. Tell the RESPONSIBLE to spread the word,” one person said.

Another user wrote, "In the announcements at school today they announced, there has been damage in the bathroom owing to a new TikTok challenge." "Thx, @tiktok_us! My middle school students now think it’s funny to remove the soap dispensers in the bathrooms for the latest “challenge!” #APLife", read a comment.
