#BareShelvesBiden trends as Internet hilariously takes POTUS to task over empty stores

Americans nationwide have taken to Twitter to document how there is an alarming number of empty shelves in their local grocery stores

The hashtag 'BareShelvesBiden' has been trending on Twitter for a while now. Americans nationwide have taken to the microblogging platform to document how there is an alarming number of empty shelves in their local grocery stores. Social media users have slammed President Joe Biden and his administration for failing to address the supply chain crisis plaguing the nation.

Various photographs posted on Twitter with the hashtag show empty shelves in produce, meat, and dairy areas of stores. A number of pictures and videos documented the bare shelves of the social media users' local supermarkets across numerous grocery chains. It is, however, not clear what exactly caused the shortages.

These shortages seem to have affected a large portion of the country, including California, Maryland, Minnesota, and more states. Twitter users across these states have expressed their concern using the trending hashtag pointing at Joe Biden. 

"#BareShelvesBiden at Stater Bros in Simi Valley, CA. This was the 2nd store we went to looking for bagels. Found the bagels but zero - ZERO - plain cream cheese. If you want Kraft parmesan cheese or Top Ramen, you're pretty much out of luck," one user wrote on Twitter, posting a few pictures of empty shelves at a grocery store. "Grocery store in Falls Church, VA #BareShelvesBiden," one user wrote, sharing a video. "Today my daughter called me and asked if I had been to @kroger recently and what was up with all the shelves being bare. My succinct response was "a mo*** was placed in the white house." @POTUS #BareShelvesBiden," commented one user.

"COVID cases are rising. There are food shortages all over America. And yet Biden was supposed to end this pandemic. Wonder where that went. #BareShelvesBiden," one user wrote. "#BareShelvesBiden is terrifying! Going to be up all night after these scary images of empty shelves!
