Matt Kindt, the creator of 'Mind MGMT,' has written some of the strangest, most mind-boggling stories known to comics in recent years and on February 19 he'll be joining with artist Wilfredo Torres to bring one more, in a comic that Keanu Reeves has described as "a great f**ed up blend of James Bond and Tintin."

The official synopsis for the series reads: "A best-of-the-best secret agent with memories he couldn't possibly possess, a mystery writer in her 60s who spends her retirement solving crimes, a man of action with mysterious drugs that keep him ahead of a constant string of targeted disasters, a seemingly omnipotent terrorist organization that might be behind it all . . .And they're all connected to one man: a science-fiction author with more information than seems possible, whose books may hold the key to either saving reality or destroying it."

The series follows protagonist Thomas Cord - a man who might be one of many Thomas Cords - as he attempts to uncover the mysteries of his own mind with dimension-hopping science fiction writer Phillip Verve. Dark Horse has released a series of trailers and teasers for the comic revealing the series' many protagonists. The trailer sees Cord make his way through the security of an isolated mansion on his way to Verve, whose voiceover narrates the trailer and reveals that reality might not be what Cord thinks it is.

In an interview with Monkeys Fighting Robots, Matt Kindt revealed that there's a mystery running through the series and that fans can expect to find clues inside the front cover and inside the back cover. There are also Easter Eggs to be found for fans of Kindt's other works - a recurring character who has appeared in the background of several unconnected books that Kindt has written.

'BANG!' #1 is written by Kindt, drawn by Wilfredo Torres and colored by Nayoung Kim, with lettering by Nate Piekos. It releases February 19, wherever comic books are sold.
