'Balenciaga type hell!': Internet fumes at Jamie Lee Curtis over Insta post with artwork of naked child
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jamie Lee Curtis was slammed on social media for posting an apparently inappropriate image on her Instagram account. The Golden Globe-winning star posted a photograph of her office, a wall of which had an artwork of what appeared to be a naked child inside ‘a suitcase’. In the post, she also made reference to Comet Pictures, a media production firm she founded in 2019.
She wrote in the caption, “Ok. This is a weird post. But I have Covid, so f**k it. During one of the SAG nomination panels for @everythingeverywheremovie, I told the story of how I ended up with my office furnished with my beautiful Pollack chairs from that movie. I mentioned if people followed me, that was not a cheap trick to try to get people to boost my numbers, but I couldn’t figure out how else to get the picture out into the world, that I would post a picture of them on my IG in my offices for @comet.pictures and I am a truth teller so here you go.”

The artwork caused a lot of anger among Internet users. Many people found it hard to comprehend that Lee Curtis would so brazenly display the specialty piece. Meanwhile, after the picture received backlash online, Jamie removed the post from her social media account, however, several users took a screenshot of it and posted it on several social media platforms. One person wrote on Twitter along with the screenshot of the post, noting, “Balenciaga-type hell!” One user wondered, “It seems to me only someone with a very dark soul would have something like this in their house. Why else would someone want to look at such a disturbing image every day?”
“Just as unsettling as someone actually owning that type of ‘art’, is how they seem okay putting it on public display (both in their house and online),” yet another user remarked. "That broke my heart. I always liked her in movies. how could anyone eat anything with that disturbing image on the wall. Sigh... our world is filled with evil," another user said. "Her answer will be its art! This people have being elevated to such, no 1 pay attention to their doing," another user slammed her.

Also, I haven’t been able to find out who the artist is. I wonder what the rest of their portfolio looks like. More of the same?
