Rebel Wilson was like a bright shining light during the BAFTAs 2020. People had been complaining about the show being boring and the worst in a long time, but luckily, Wilson came on stage to save the day. The actress had people rolling in the aisles when she joked about coronavirus.

Wilson accepted the award and tried to put it in front of her face and stated, “What a great way to stop yourself from getting the coronavirus”. The audience was left laughing while viewers who were watching the show on television also loved every part of it.

Many took to social media to express their fondness towards the actress as they praised her as a comedian. "You know every woman has a female crush, well mine just got stronger for @RebelWilson with her coronavirus joke. Literally crying," one said. Another added, "You just made my night!! Great speech the @BAFTA( the coronavirus moment!!)"

However, that wasn' the only thing that people loved about Wilson. The actress went on to poke fun of her movie 'Cats' that took the headlines for being one of the worst movies in recent memory. Speaking to journalist Donald Clarke she said, “The red is from that one time I didn’t win Miss Australia. And the black is from a funeral I just went to for the feature film Cats.”

Cats is a musical directed by Tom Hooper and included some of the biggest names in the industry. Despite having a big-name cast, the movie failed to make an impact at the Box Office. However, this wasn't the only thing that people loved about Wilson during the show. While announcing the nominations for Best Director, the actress brought attention to how it was an all-male category. “I don’t think I could do what they do – honestly, I don’t have the balls," she said.
