'Bad Girls Club' Cast: Where are they now?
'The Bad Girls Club', an American reality TV series, was the brainchild of Jonathan Murray and aired on the Oxygen channel. The show's premise revolved around seven women, notorious for their unruly behavior and diverse backgrounds, who were housed together for a three-month period. The goal was for these "bad girls" to reform their behavior and emerge as role models. Non-compliance with the rules could lead to their expulsion from the show, with a new participant taking their place. This captivating series was first broadcast on Oxygen on December 5, 2006, and concluded its run on May 2, 2017. Over the course of 17 seasons and four spin-offs, viewers were introduced to a variety of characters who not only coined new catchphrases but also went on to enjoy successful careers.
Tanisha Thomas
Tanisha Thomas became a household name thanks to 'Bad Girls Club', and gained fame for the catchphrase "pop off" in 2007. She later hosted various shows and appeared in Baddies ATL in 2021. Tragically, Deshayla's life was cut short in a shooting incident in Virginia Beach on March 26, 2021. According to a statement from the Virginia Beach Police Department, Harris was an innocent bystander at the scene of the incident and sadly, she succumbed to her injuries on the spot. Just hours before the unfortunate event, Harris had posted a video of herself on Instagram with a caption that read: "I'm only doing s**t that’s gonna make me elevate!" Regrettably, Deshayla’s Instagram account has been deleted since then.
Mehgan James
Mehgan James, who gained fame in the 9th season of BGC, has also graced the screens in 'Basketball Wives' and 'Notorious Queens'. This brunette stunner was a finalist in the 2008 MTV reality competition '50 Cent: The Money and the Power', where budding hip-hop moguls vied for an investment from the rapper 50 Cent. In June 2023, it was reported that she would be embarking on another reality TV journey in 'Basketball Wives: Orlando'.
Camilla Poindexter
Camilla Poindexter made her mark in the 8th season of 'BGC' and was also the runner-up in the 4th season of 'Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too'. She secured a spot in the Top 20 in the 10th Cycle of 'America's Next Top Model' and was a participant in the NBC series 'Momma's Boys', although she was eliminated in the series finale. In 2016, she was embroiled in controversy when Dominique, the wife of Oakland Raiders’ star Donald Penn, accused him of fathering a child with Camilla. Dominique expressed her belief on Instagram that Penn was the father of Poindexter’s baby, born in March 2016. Today, Camilla Poindexter has transitioned into a new phase of her career. She is a certified massage therapist and a fitness enthusiast.
