'Bachelorette' alum Tyler Cameron pays heartwrenching tribute to his mother: 'Today heaven gained an angel'
Tyler Cameron is mourning the loss of his mother Andrea Cameron and he opened up on Instagram following reports of her death that surfaced over the weekend.
The former 'Bachelorette' contestant took to Instagram and confirmed that his mother died on March 2. In what was an emotional tribute to his mother, Tyler wrote, "Today heaven gained an angel. We will love and miss our mother dearly. She will live on through us and through those that she has had an impact on."
Adding to that he shared that the family just requests two things. "While we grieve, we ask for two things: First, tell those you love that you love them; and second, please let us take this time to celebrate her life in private. Thank you for all of your love and support."
The photo Tyler uploaded along with the caption was a picture of him and his brothers holding their mother's hand by the bed while she was in the hospital. The cause of Andrea's death is still unclear.
What we do know is that Tyler had hinted that something was wrong when he tweeted the morning of his GMA group run that he wouldn't be able to make it due to an emergency. Taking to Twitter, he said, "Have to cancel GMA group run tomorrow. Family emergency. Please pray for my mom and my family."
Immediately after Tyler posted on Instagram about the loss of his mother, his fellow Bachelor franchise alums sent their love and condolences to the Cameron family. Peter Weber, the current Bachelor on Season 24, shared, "Sending your family all my love and prayers."
Hannah Godwin shared, "Sending all the love yalls way." While Katie Morton said, "I can’t tell you how sorry I am. Sending you guys all of the love and prayers in the world."
"Keeping you and your family in our thoughts," Kristina Schulman commented. Jojo Fletcher said, "I can't even begin to tell you how deeply sorry I am. Words won't do it justice, but know you have so many people sending prayers and love to you and your family during this time."
