'Bachelor' star Caila Quinn gets engaged to boyfriend Nick Burrello, couple plans to tie knot this year
From dating rumors to engagements, and even weddings, this year has begun with a lot of love for celebrities. And no one's complaining!
'Bachelor' alum Caila Quinn got engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Nick Burrello, and the proposal was dreamy, Us Weekly reported. Ever since her engagement, which took place on January 2, Thursday, Caila cannot stop flaunting her 2.5-carat radiant cut diamond ring.
The couple was on their way to visiting Caila's grandparents when he said he wanted to spend time with her and both of their parents. Nick drove to another town after visiting the the families and booked an Airbnb property for all of them to stay in. Later, he expressed an interest in going out for a quiet dinner with just her and the rest is history.
"As we start walking up the table at sunset, by the beach, there was an acoustic guitar playing this beautiful romantic song, ‘The Way You Look Tonight’ and I start tearing up,” Caila elaborated on her special evening, which started with just a dinner by the ocean and lots of talk about their relationship and lives together. "It was just the two of us. Then, at the end of the dinner, he asked me to slow dance and I said, ‘OK.’ So we started slow dancing and I’m swaying in his arms and then he gets on one knee and he asks me," she recalled.
It was an unbelievable moment for Caila as parents from both sides walked in and raised a toast to the newly-engaged pair. Caila and Nick are apparently planning a 2020 wedding, with Sarasota, Florida, as a probable destination for their big day.
Meanwhile, fans have started to pour in their best wishes. "Congratulations Caila@CailaQuinn and Nick on being engaged how cute the tag on ig #MrsBToBe love the ring it's gorgeous and classy. How cute both parents were their after u got engaged.U were my fav on @benhiggi season to see you find ur match in Mr Harvard score," one wrote.

The couple even showed off their happiness on Instagram by sharing photos from the engagement that went up with mushy captions.
