'Bachelor' alum Hannah Ann Sluss and NFL star Jake Funk are engaged after dating for less than 2 years
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hannah Ann Sluss left Bachelor Peter Weber for NFL star Jake Funk, and she hasn't looked back since. After less than two years of dating, the couple is now engaged.
Hannah shared clips from a romantic night on the beach with the NFL athlete in a TikTok video uploaded on Wednesday, January 25. Before, the reality star shared a photo projected onto a rock that said "She said yes!" the twosome drank drinks and ate supper. Hannah then moved her gaze to the diamond ring on her left hand. "The surprise at the end he had for me 🤍," Hannah captioned the adorable video.

The happy couple, who began dating in late 2021, made their relationship public in February 2022, just hours before Jake's club, the Los Angeles Rams, entered the field for Super Bowl LVI. Hannah stood by her beau's side for all the festivities when the Rams won later that night, culminating with a trip to Cabo San Lucas. "We met a couple months ago and as soon as we met, we just had an instant connection, and basically [we’ve been] inseparable since day one," the ABC personality said of her relationship with the running back in April 2022. “Just getting to know him and us being together and incorporating our lives together, it’s just been very seamless and easy.”
Hannah stated in July 2022 that she was the one who made the initial move. That same month, the couple made their red carpet debut at the 2022 ESPY Awards, where the model admitted they tried to keep their romance quiet at first.
The Tennessee native went on to say that the athlete was aware of her appearance on 'The Bachelor.' "Back then, everyone watched the show and everything was so blown up, so he definitely knew [about it]," she explained. "But [he] didn’t really know [or go into any] detail. Honestly, that was almost three years ago, so it’s not anything that’s, like, [relevant] or present in my life."
After appearing on Hannah Brown's season of 'The Bachelorette,' the pilot proposed to Hannah on the March 2020 finale of the ABC series. While the program was aired, Peter called off the engagement, confessing he had emotions for runner-up Madison Prewett. While the Tennessee native was seen with quarterback Mason Rudolph in April 2020, Jake, another football player, made a greater impression. She confessed in July 2022 that he had made the initial move less than a year before.
