Azealia Banks took to her Instagram stories to update her fans about how she has been doing. The rapper hinted that she is having a tough time adjusting to the lockdown and struggling without social interaction. "Yea. I think I'm done here," she wrote. "This pandemic, extreme lack of social interaction, no intimacy, combined with constant public ridicule is making life harder than its worth. I think I will end my tenure here on earth soon."

Banks also told her fans that the post was not for attention, but something she had been feeling for a while as she wrote, "I'm not begging for attention or asking for sympathy/empathy... I'm just ready to go. Peacefully of course."

She further hinted that she wanted people to know the real her as the post continued, "I will document my last times and release a film for you all to finally understand me, from my perspective." She continued, "My soul is tired. I am ready to go."

She concluded her post by writing, "I will try my best to finish the projects I promised I would beforehand. With whatever strength is left." This post comes after Banks recently shaved her head and stated that she was looking for a fresh start.

In a series of Instagram videos, she said, "All this stress-energy and break up energy… I’m about to have my Britney Spears moment. I feel like Britney, b***h on some 2007 s**t, I’m gonna shave my head b***h, just to feel fresh again," as reported by Metro. "‘That s**t got me wanting to shave all this relaxed hair off. I’m sitting here reading all the dangers of relaxers.  ‘Is that why I’m crazy? ‘Cause of the hair relaxer and pink lotion? No, I’m shaving this s**t off. I’m shaving all this stress out of my head. I’m shaving the man off," she continued. Seeing her latest post has fans worried if she is doing fine. "Please take black women’s mental health seriously" was a common refrain on the micro-blogging site once this news broke. One said: "Please check on azealia banks y'all were just crying about the mental health of black women, please don't fail her."

Once she was done shaving off her hair, the rapper admitted that she was feeling good as she said, "‘I feel so f*****g free…I had to get all that energy off. Yes!’ That feels so f*****g fresh and free. You see this? Scalp burns from relaxing my hair. No."

"This worries me so much. I hope someone close to Azealia reaches out to make sure she’s doing okay. She’s such a powerful human being and a lovely artist and I just want to see her thrive and be happy. I wish I could hug her right now," said another.

Banks continued, "I’m just going to be bald under these wigs until the end of coronavirus and then I’m going to grow my hair back in… by the time coronavirus ends, I’m going to be nice with these clippers… spiritually, I just feel like…years of trauma and energy just came off.  ‘That was cleansing, b***h."

"Azealia Banks, you are worth it. you are enough. and you are talented. Don't allow this pandemic or lack of social interaction to put you in a depressed state. you are loved and cherished. Don't do anything irrational. I love you," another fan wrote.

Acknowledging the hate the rapper had received another social media urged fellow users to pay attention, saying : "Idc if you don’t like Azealia Banks or disagree with anything she’s said or done before. She’s a human being who is at her lowest point rn and needs mental help"

"Y’all Azealia banks is about to kill herself. Before she goes I just want to point out how rude y’all were too her even though everything she said was true. She don’t deserve to get treated like shit. She is an amazing fragile black woman and I love her," said another fan.
