Jada Pinkett Smith's lover August Alsina alludes to affair in song, plans SHOCKING tell-all book
Will Smith's Oscars slap scandal is getting worse as the man who had an affair with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith is coming out in a new song and a potential tell-all book. Jada, 50, notoriously called his years-long relationship with R&B artist August Alsina, 29, an ‘entanglement,’ which he now references in his fresh new song, ‘Shake the World.’
August is heard singing in a clip that he released on Monday, April 4, through his Instagram page. "Well, of course, some s**t is bound to go down when you tangled up with the world's favorite," August is heard singing. In 2020, Jada revealed that she had an affair with August, and she even invited Will into her talk show ‘Red Table Talk’ to address it in front of the public last year. August, who was just 23 when he first met Jada, is reportedly rumored to be working on a tell-all book about their sex life.

According to The Sun, August is about to sign a huge money book contract that will expose his romantic relations with Jada. The source told The Sun, “He has always maintained that Will gave him permission to sleep with Jada, something they have publicly denied. August will go into detail about his time with Jada and will also speak about how he spent time living in homes owned by Will when he was away filming. There are several publishers bidding for the books and August is lining up the best deal. He knows there are a lot of people fascinated by his story and is happy to tell it.”
Will stated that he and Jada enjoy an open relationship last year while promoting his own biography, revealing that she has ‘never believed in a conventional marriage.’ In July 2020, the pair made waves when they opened out about Jada's romance with August on her honest talk show 'Red Table Talk.' She continued by describing how the couple met through their 22-year-old son Jaden, and how the singer, who would have been 23 at the time, was really unwell, as he battled a genetic liver disease.
Meanwhile, Will is still dealing with the aftermath of his assault on Chris Rock, with reports that his agency, CAA, is split on whether or not to drop the actor. According to The Daily Beast's version of the incident's aftermath, there was a heated debate within the agency over whether Smith should be fired. Meanwhile, Jada has said she 'wishes' Will 'didn't get physical' with Chris, but isn't 'angry with' her husband. Despite laughing about the event and partying the night away at the Vanity Fair Oscars party, Jada said the next day, "This is a season for healing, and I'm here for it."
