50 Cent sympathizes with Will Smith over Jada Pinkett-August Alsina affair, Internet says couple is 'unbothered'
50 Cent is the most recent celeb to weigh in on the August Alsina-Jada Pinkett Smith debacle, and it appears the rapper's sympathies lie with Will Smith.
In a tweet on July 11, 50 Cent shared, "Got Damn Will look hit, SMH what the f**k do ya do when this s**t happens? LOL Nah it’s not funny. S**T! #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi," along with an image of Will during the recent episode of 'Red Table Talk' with Jada with a snippet from their conversation below it that read, "Jada: 'entanglement' / Will: 'a relationship'." 50 Cent is evidently on Will's side and appears to feel his pain, and from the looks of it, so does the rest of social media.
One user tweeted, "Even his acting skills couldn't hide the pain in his eyes!" while another said, "Will is hurting big time: it’s written all over his face." Another user shared, "Will giving me them vibes from I am legend, when he got tired of fighting them damn vampires." Others commented on Jada's use of the word 'entanglement' while Will was clearly referring to it as 'a relationship'. One person said, "Will said let’s call a spade a spade baby!!" and another commented, "Yeah, he had to literally pull the truth out of her. Not a good look Jada!"
But not everyone is taking Will's side. One user stated, "Please, Will got his mess too..." to which another responded, "Jada basically said he had side pieces too when he mentioned getting back at her." And one user said, "When a woman’s fed up. #boom. Men been cheating for centuries but when the tables turn they can’t handle it..."
Many also disagreed that Will was hurting, and instead shared they believed he was perturbed, to put it mildly. One user said, "This is not the face of 'oh you broke my heart', or girl why you do this to me type of feeling, this is the face of 'I thought you said August wasn't going to cause a problem or raise awareness, thought you said you will not let it happen in a way that will embarrass me publicly'."
Judging from the RTT episode, though, it doesn't seem like Will or Jada are particularly bothered by the situation. One viewer quoted from the episode, tweeting, "Will & Jada: We ride together we die together, bad marriage for life #redtabletalk," while another explained, "'Bad marriage for life' to me means throwing away any judgement that comes from not always living up to society’s standard of a 'good' marriage and choosing instead to commit to always working through things and communicating no matter what."
Another user laughed, "B***h they said bad marriage for life," before adding, "but I definetly agree. They got that unconditional love." And another user said, "August thought he was doing something, but Will & Jada’s Unbothered Level is over 9000."
Of course, most commenters found humor in the situation and have in the process given birth to a new stream of memes. One user quipped, "We're all in July but Jada has been through August and back," while another tweet read, "Why did July about August?" Others began asking, "Are you one of Jada’s Entaglements?" while some users began photoshopping images of Jada and August as the new leads of the film 'Entangled'. And some were totally uninterested in 50 Cent's views on the situation, instead asking him, "Are u going to reply to TI tho," in reference to T.I.'s recent Verzuz challenge.
