Aubrey O'Day says male American Airlines flight attendant made her take her shirt off in front of other passengers
'Danity Kane' star Aubrey O'Day has claimed that an American Airlines flight attendant forced her to take her shirt off "in front of the entire plane".
"Never have I flown & had the steward treat me like a punished lil child in timeout the entire flight," the 35-year-old said in a tweet.
She added that she was allegedly told to remove her shirt and undress as the flight attendant "didn’t like my shirt." O'Day also wrote that he had made her turn her shirt "inside out in order to fly."
It is not very clear when the incident occurred.
O'Day added, "I was SHOCKED. I literally had to have my breasts in a bra out in front of everyone around me in order to not get kicked off. The girl next to me held up her blanket cuz she felt bad."
American Airlines responded to O'Day's tweet by asking her for her flight information so that they could investigate the matter.
However, O'Day made it clear that she was done with American Airlines and expressed her disinterest in dealing with the airline. She wrote back saying, "I gave you his name. I literally have no interest in dealing with your airline any further. I’m that offended and disturbed. I wish I took @JetBlue."
She received a mixed reaction from her fans and followers online after she shared the incident. A few people were very sympathetic about the situation and supported her. One fan asked her if she felt like the encounter was sexual, to which O'Day replied, "I didn’t get pervert vibes. I got someone that I feel genuinely hated me. He wasn’t kind, and I don’t believe his feelings were handled correctly."
Some fans accused her of wanting attention and claimed that her story made no sense.
