Singer-rapper R Kelly's attorney Steven Greenberg confirmed the rapper's innocence during his appearance on ABC’s Good Morning America that aired Friday morning. In the interview with Linsey Davis, Greenberg claimed that his client was absolutely innocent of all the allegations made against him in the 'Surviving R. Kelly' documentary that aired on Lifetime last week. The docu-series which aired on Lifetime between January 3 and January 5, brought into account the stories of women who claimed being harassed by the renowned R&B singer.

However, Greenberg seems to have overlooked all the allegations and put his foot to the ground claiming that R Kelly was not to be blamed for anything. To Davis, he said, "We know what happened, and we know those things didn’t happen. The man was not operating a harem or a sex cult or holding people hostage or anything like that." Bringing up Kelly's controversial marriage to Aaliyah, who was reportedly only 15-years-old when the then 27-year-old had married her. According to Greenberg, Kelly was not even aware of Aaliyah's real age since she never spoke about it. "He was married to her when she was 15. Elvis was married to Priscilla."
