Atlanta rapper Lil Marlo dead at 27, heartbroken fans curse 2020 for robbing favorite stars

Atlanta Rapper Rudolph "Lil Marlo" Johnson has reportedly been found dead, according to reports that first started doing the rounds on Twitter.

Atlanta Rapper Rudolph "Lil Marlo" Johnson has been found dead. The news was later confirmed when Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed to NBC News that a deceased individual by the name of Rudolph Johnson was brought in.

Johnson was reportedly 27, but the medical examiner’s office told the outlet he was 30. They also said that the cause of death is yet to be determined.

However, police officials told TMZ about a call that alerted them about a car accident on Interstate 285 in downtown Atlanta. According to the same report, when the cops arrived, they found that the rapper had been shot dead and believed that the bullet hit him while he was driving. 

"At this time, investigators believe the victim was the intended target of the gunfire and they are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting," officials said. 

On Twitter, a website named Durrty Daily shared the news, "Just IN: Atlanta Rapper Rudolph 'Lil Marlo' Johnson, born and raised in Bowen Home projects on the Westside area of Atlanta, found dead. I heart goes out to his family & loved ones."

Some wrote "Rest in Paradise", paying tribute to their favorite rapper, while many couldn't believe that this had happened and wished strength for the artiste's family.

Marlo's friend Lil Yachty shared a picture of him on his Instagram page along with a tribute. "We just did a song a 4 this morning smh rip brother @lilmarlo_1," he wrote. 

Singer Stickbaby DaDon shared Johnson's photo and wrote how upset he was at his passing, "Not my mf bradda damn man I kno I ain’t got to say goodbye like this man this shit ain’t right MOB IN PEACE WHOAA 2Love...."

Fellow Atlanta rapper Clay James posted: "Never take for granted being able to return home safely to your family. This, along with waking up every day are underrated BLESSINGS."

The piece of news took social media by shock and fans started flooding Twitter with messages such as "Rest in peace Marlo" and "Oh god, not Marlo!". Some fans have cursed the year 2020 and said that it is robbing them of all their favorite celebrities.

"This is so sad," a fan wrote. One even went on to say: "Marlo super humble super low, would always offer him the best rooms but bra didn’t care about the extra he just wanted to rap. But you could tell he didn’t wanna rap fr lol if you know what I mean."
