Offset is a wanted man, arrest warrant issued against rapper for smacking fan's cellphone
Offset and Cardi B took Billboards Music Awards 2019 by storm with their intense PDA filled red carpet appearance. But soon after the event got over, the Migos rapper found himself in trouble with the law as it was reported that a warrant has been issued for his arrest for smacking a cellphone out of a fan's hand, reports TMZ.
According to reports, the incident happened on April 27 at a Target store in Sandy Springs, Georgia, when a fan, identified as Junior Gibbons, pulled out his phone to take a video of the 'Clout' rapper shopping after he had checked out of the store.
In the video of the incident, Gibbons is seen posing for a selfie video and saying "hello Offset." TMZ reports that Cardi B's husband said, "Get the f*** out of my face," before smashing the phone with an instrument he was carrying. The phone was left shattered into pieces. Gibbons filed a police report last Friday, and after investigations, cops got a warrant to arrest Offset on Thursday
The phone is said to cost $800 ands police told the publication that it is a major felony since it was "intentional."
