The couple is yet to announce their baby girl's name. Prior to revealing the news of their newborn, the couple who fell in love on season 22 of 'The Bachelor' took to Instagram and shared pictures from the hospital. They were excited to meet the new addition to their family as they kept fans in the loop as to what was happening in the hospital.
“IT’S HAPPENING!” Luyendyk Jr. captioned a photo of the couple cradling Burnham's belly on Instagram. The couple have been open about their pregnancy on social media and have been documenting it too. So, Burnham going into labor was no surprise.
A few hours earlier, Luyendyk Jr. revealed the baby was on its way. The happy couple posted a photo of pregnant Burnham wearing her hospital gown on their baby’s Instagram page. They captioned the post, “Is it time yet? #39weekspregnant.”
The couple continued to post a series of pictures on both their Instagram accounts and stories that featured their hospital experience. “Alright you guys… I think this may be it!” Burnham captioned a story on her profile and then showed Luyendyk Jr. taking all her bags into their room.
As they waited for their newborn to arrive, the couple also had some fun in the hospital with Burnham playfully pushing him around in the hospital hallway in a wheelchair. A little later he took to Instagram and revealed Burnham's contractions were two minutes apart and she was doing great.
“A little update… It’s 5 am and [Lauren Burnham] just received an epidural,” he posted on his story. “She is doing great and everything is going smoothly! We are going to catch a little sleep and hopefully we will meet our baby soon!”
