There are currently close to 30 Bachelor Nation couples who met on a Bachelor series or through the extensive network of fellow contestants, even though the majority of engagements on 'The Bachelor', 'The Bachelorette', and 'Bachelor in Paradise' don't last. Rachael Kirkconnell did not win Matt James' first impression rose on his season of 'The Bachelor,' but she did receive his final rose. However, the couple's recent social media interaction has concerned followers.
However, their relationship on the show was not without its difficulties. During the season, racially offensive images from Rachel's past surfaced, causing friction in their relationship because Matt was the franchise's first-ever Black bachelor. The pair was able to sort things out after a brief split and have been together ever since, until now. During Season 25, Matt, the first Black bachelor, fell for graphic designer Rachael. Then, as the season progressed, photos of Rachael attending a "plantation-themed party" and dressing up as a Native American surfaced on the internet, and her relationship with Matt soured. That is until it didn't. Matt revealed in May 2021 that he and Rachael were giving it another attempt.
However, the couple's lackluster internet presence has recently disturbed followers. According to one Bachelor Nation fan page, "Fans are speculating that these two broke up after their lack of posts together and his mom not tagging her in posts anymore.. what do you think?"

Bachelor Nation didn't pass on the opportunity to comment on the situation as they shared their own wild theories by remarking below the post. One fan wrote, "She can do better than him." Another one quipped, "No recent videos of them stuffing their faces lately? Probably a good thing, it’s not a pretty sight." One user also observed, "I don’t think he’s tagged in any of her old posts." Another devastated user said, "Pleaseeeee Bach Gods PLEASE DONT LET THIS BE TRUE they are my favorite!" When it comes to picking sides, one user commented, "Rachel is honesty one of the most gorgeous women in the world. She could snag anyone and you can tell her love for Matt is pure as gold.
