Paige Spiranac is no stranger to social media trolls, but fans' comments comparing her to Trevor Lawrence is something she 'can't unsee'

WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO: Golf influencer Paige Spiranac who is known for her unapologetically firm views, clapped back at a fan who said she resembled Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

This comes after Spiranac uploaded a video of herself wearing a headband. While social media users took to Twitter to appreciate Spiranac, one fan likened her to Lawrence. After reading the comment, Spiranac took to Twitter and jokingly claimed that she would be 'burning' the headband.

'I can't unsee it'

Paige took to Twitter on Wednesday, August 2, and wrote, "Someone said I looked like Trevor Lawrence, and I can't unsee it now. lol, brb, burning this headband, but enjoy the picks." The former pro golfer turned influencer also responded to those who criticized her after admitting in the one-minute tape that she had a "off-week" with her golf picks. Spiranac explained her decision to play with South Korean pro Sungjae Im, who missed the 3M Open cut for the sixth time in the 2022–23 season. "You and I, we need to have a little discussion," she added.

Spiranac said, “A little team regroups here because vibes are at an all-time low. I have been on a massive heater… until last week, when I had an off-week. But I admit it. All of a sudden, all the chatter starts: ‘You’re not very good at this. What’re you doing? You cost me a good pick." She added, “Do you know how hard it is to pick in golf?  This year has been almost impossible to pick well. But you know who’s still picking and doing well?  Me.”

'Trevor never looked so good'

Comparing Spiranac to Lawrence, one wrote, "Hahahahahahahahaha omg, that’s funny." A second user wrote, ''Shut those haters up!!!! Too many great golfers out there. It's especially hard to pick when the big names don't play. But... keep it up gorgeous!!!" The third user wrote, "Now I cannot unsee it dammit". The fourth user wrote, "Trevor never looked so good." While the fifth user wrote, "Sorry. Trevor doesn’t look like you. No way in hell."
