WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO: Kay Adams welcomed Paige Spiranac as a guest on the latest Friday episode of her FanDuel TV morning show, 'Up & Adams'.

The timing of this appearance is noteworthy, occurring merely four days after the dynamic duo publicly committed to a golf rendezvous, as announced on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

While no concrete plans were officially confirmed, Adams intriguingly floated the idea of a playful twist to their golf encounter. She suggested a Putt-Putt game accompanied by the delightful addition of postgame tequila shots.

This imaginative proposition elicited a radiant smile from Spiranac, an influential figure in the realm of golf.

Here's what Kay Adams said about Paige Spiranac

Adams addressed the criticism she has faced, with critics suggesting that she sexualizes the sport of golf.

Yet, in a heartfelt appreciation, she applauded Paige Spiranac for presenting a fresh perspective that celebrates body positivity and inclusivity within the golfing world.

She complimented her on how Spiranac “offers a refreshing take” on body positivity and inclusivity.

Paige Spiranac explained, “When I started posting on social media I never had this idea of blowing up or going viral. … I was just showing my swing, but because I was wearing clothes that weren’t deemed golf-appropriate people lost their minds and it’s just how I feel best.”

“I’ve always dressed this way. I like being sexy, that’s how I feel most confident and there are definitely times where I play it up on social media, but it’s my body, it’s my choice and I can choose what I want to wear." Spiranac said.

Spiranac delved into her perspective on why some individuals might steer clear of golf. She attributed this tendency to the game's adherence to traditional rules and conventions, which can create a barrier for those seeking a more modern and inclusive experience.

“I think that a lot of people are scared to get into the game of golf because it can be very stuffy,” Spiranac said, adding, “and it can be not very welcoming at times because you’re scared of ‘What am I wearing?’ What am I doing? Am I going to upset a member at a country club?’"

“… You can still respect the game and you can uphold the tradition of the game and it doesn’t have to be all about your wardrobe. … I don’t promote it as you have to wear this, and that’s how you’re going to get followers," she said.

Adams posed a question to Spiranac about her ideal participants for "The Match," an annual charity exhibition golf event that typically features professional athletes and celebrities. Spiranac's response carried a bold stance, as she candidly expressed her desire for a shift in the event's composition.

Offering a unique perspective, Spiranac voiced her perspective, saying, "This is going to be a bit of a hot take, but I'm sick of seeing NFL players and NBA players in The Match."

In a refreshing twist, she passionately advocated for more female representation in the event. She said, "I want to see some women competing."

Kay Adams' fun question for Paige Spiranac

Amidst the fervor surrounding their impending golf collaboration, Kay Adams curiously posed a question to Paige Spiranac, "Why is the internet literally obsessed with literally everything you do?"

To this, Spiranac confessed, “I have no idea, but I’m really happy that this happened so we can get together and play some golf.”

The conversation took an unexpected turn when Adams revealed her personal preference for putt-putt over traditional golf. With a touch of self-awareness, Adams admitted, “I didn’t really mean it when I said that because … I’m just not a golf gal.”

This led to an imaginative proposal from Adams, suggesting a blend of whimsical putt-putt and lively tequila shots. Adams said. “I need you to get me into it.”  “Maybe putt putt — some sort of windmill situation, I’m hitting it into a clown’s mouth — and then we take some tequila shots.”

Spiranac was all in, responding with enthusiasm, “100 percent on the tequila shots, but it’s really funny because everyone thinks if you’re good at golf, you’re good at putt-putt, and it’s the exact opposite. I am a horrendous putt-putt player, but I can kill it on the golf course so I think it actually would be a pretty good match between us.”

Amid the excitement, Adams shared a lighthearted observation that the news had spurred quite a response from the men in her life. She revealed, “The amount of men that have volunteered to caddy this golf thing between you and I is shocking — and I’m talking about some big names.”

The synergy between Paige Spiranac and the 'Up & Adams' show unfolded with remarkable speed.

A mere four days after a casual exchange on X, the host, Kay Adams, responded to a suggestion that they should engage in a game of golf. Adams' reply carried a sense of intrigue and openness as she mused, "If she has the patience for me, why not."

Spiranac quickly chimed in, solidifying the plan. She responded, "I’m so down! Let’s go play some golf."
