BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA: Olivia Dunne aka Livvy Dunne, the widely recognized TikTok star and LSU gymnast, has managed to captivate millions across various social media platforms through her engaging content.

Recently, speculations emerged surrounding Dunne being in a relationship with the baseball player Paul Skenes, who is known as the top pick for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Naturally, the news of the alleged couple sent shockwaves through the Internet, leaving many curious about whether they have officially confirmed their relationship.

As per a post on X (formerly Twitter) from the handle @PittsburghPG, Skenes has entered into a romantic relationship with TikTok sensation Olivia Dunne. "Paul Skenes discusses dating Livvy Dunne and his unique relationship with social media," read the post.

The announcement made it clear that Skenes has officially confirmed his current relationship status with Dunne and shared the unique dynamics of his relationship with the gymnast.

"Just a small world type of thing," said Skenes about meeting Dunne, implying that he met the TikTok star through one of his friends who was dating her roommate, as per the article attached with the post from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. 

He also shared insights into the difficulties that arise when you're part of a celebrity couple. Skenes said that they have a constant stream of encounters with fans, ranging from friendly to less pleasant, making the experience quite draining.

Moreover, the baseball player discussed the impact of social media on a relationship is highly variable and said that it's seldom a positive influence.

"It can be a pain in the b**t sometimes, to be honest, in terms of actually going somewhere. If one of us went out in Baton Rouge (La.) by ourselves, there’s probably gonna be someone there asking for something — picture, autograph, whatever," claimed Skenes. 

Is Olivia Dunne going to witness Paul Skenes in MLB? 

Paul Skenes is undoubtedly regarded as one of the most valued MLB-ready prospects in this year's draft. With their relationship being confirmed, there's a high possibility that Dunne might attend his games in the 2023 MLB, but the TikTok star is yet to confirm her plans. 

Skenes had a polished performance during his college career at LSU and he's expected to transition smoothly into the professional league, debuting in Major League soon.

It's noteworthy that, according to MLB Pipeline's Top 100 prospect list, Skenes has achieved the third rank across all of baseball, with many anticipating his promotion to the Pirates in 2024.
