Are Ludwig and Valkyrae no longer friends? Streamer addresses ongoing 'drama' following duo's Twitter exchange

'He's dead to me and I hope you guys can understand that it is what it is,' Valkyrae said about the situation with Ludwig

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rachell "Valkyrae" finally opened up about her "drama" with fellow content creator Ludwig Ahgren during a live stream on Wednesday, August 2.

The streamer not only playfully declared that she no longer knew Ludwig but also went on to state, "Oh, I have some drama for you guys. I'm no longer friends with Ludwig and that's that! All right? He's dead to me. Okay?"

'I'm no longer friends with Ludwig'

To put things into perspective, on Tuesday, August 1, a Twitter user commented on the issue with streamers, stating that they "radiate the same energy" as Logan Paul and Jake Paul did in 2017. The tweet read, "Except for Jerma I've never seen anything good posted about popular streamers - they radiate the same energy as the Paul brothers in 2017 with everything you hear about them being purely negative."

To this, Ludwig replied by naming "good streamers" such as Douglas "DougDoug," Ryan "Northernlion," Leslie "Fuslie," Blaire "QTCinderella," and Connor "CDawgVA," among others. He wrote, "DougDoug, Northernlion, Wirtual, Squeex, Fuslie, QT, CDawg, Ironmouse, MoonMoon, Tarik, LilyPichu. There’s a lot of good streamers!" Valkyrae responded playfully to Ludwig's tweet, writing, "I'm never inviting you to games again," when she noticed her name was not listed. Ludwig did not hold back as he expressed, "I’m talking about people who actually go live," and he attached a screenshot of the streaming statistics of Vallkyre for the month of June, where she clocked 52 hours of total streaming time with a daily average of 1.76 hours, which might seem less as compared to the long streams undertaken by creators. 

'We're no longer friends'

During the live stream, Valkyrae said, "He's dead to me and I hope you guys can understand that it is what it is, (the streamer starts laughing) and we're no longer friends. 'Why?' Because he's a hater, that's why! Okay? And, because he tweeted; okay, if you were on Twitter, then you know. If you know, you know. If you were on Twitter, then you know. Okay? But, we're no longer friends." She also said that Ludwig was being "bitter" because she backed out of a chess competition he was holding, stating, "Sure, maybe he is a little bitter because I backed out of the chess tournament that Sykkuno and Leslie are also in. But, that's a three-week-long commitment! Three weeks!" At the same time, Valkyrae quipped that she would "do anything" to get Ludwig's girlfriend, QTCinderella. "I'm team QT for life. QTCinderella, I will do anything for you. If you ever want to leave your man, you know, I got you, girl! We can key his car. We can spray paint his house. Whatever we've got to do, I got you, girl," said the streamer in jest.
