For a long time now, word has it that Hollywood’s most happening couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are “done” with each other. Talks surrounding their divorce have been swirling for a while and now sources have confirmed that it’s “imminent” as they have decided to move on with their lives. 

Page Six reports claim that sources have confirmed the foreseeable divorce between Kim and Kanye and revealed details supporting the never-ending speculations. One source said, “They are keeping it low-key but they are done. Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks.”

It was previously reported that Kim “hasn’t been wearing” her wedding ring and Kanye chose to spend the holidays in their $14M Wyoming ranch, instead of meeting with the Kardashian family, with whom he is said to have become “increasingly uncomfortable and irritated”. A separate source told the publication that Kanye “is completely over the entire family… He wants nothing to do with them.” It also says that he finds the family reality show “unbearable”.

If the claims are true, Kim has already hired celebrity divorce lawyer Wasser and the “settlement talks” are underway. While neither of the star couples has issued a statement or commented on the reports surrounding their divorce, one source has stated that Kim wants the divorce as she has “grown up a lot”. 

“She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile, Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy s**t, and she’s just had enough of it,” it further states. 

Why hasn’t Kim officially filed for a divorce?

It is well-known that Kim and Kanye have been leading separate lives, especially after his meltdown during the presidential election campaign. However, Kim is yet to announce their divorce officially, if the rumors are true. Commenting on the same, one source told E!, "She wants to make sure she's making the right decision for the kids. It's not about the marriage anymore, she'll always care for Kanye but it's over between them. Kim is only focused on what's best for the kids. It's a tough decision for her and she's figuring it out."
The source further added, “It's gotten to the point where they haven't spent time together as a married couple in months. They've seen each other for the sake of the kids but have been living separately. Kim knows the marriage is over. She's known for a while."

The couple reportedly spent a whopping $60M on the house — $40M on purchase and $20M on the renovation. Belgian designer Axel Vervoordt worked on the all-minimalist home. 

While one source noted that they are “serious” about the divorce this time and around and the property settlement is yet to be sorted, another explained, “Kim is trying to get Kanye to turn over the Calabasas house to her, because that’s where the kids are based and growing up. That is their home. She owns all the land and adjoining lots around the house but Kanye owns the actual house. They’ve both put a lot of money into renovating it.”
