Anya Taylor-Joy, who has reportedly been dating Malcolm McRae for a little more than a year, secretly got married to her musician boyfriend. ‘The Queen’s Gambit’ star, according to Page Six, had an intimate courthouse wedding. Anya and Malcolm reportedly got married in the US before the former flew to Australia to continue filming the prequel to ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ called ‘Furiosa’.
 
The 26-year-old apparently got engaged to Malcolm McRae last month as she was papped stepping out with a diamond ring on her wedding finger. According to Page Six, Anya Taylor-Joy and Malcolm McRae were clicked in Sydney where the actress was again seen rocking her engagement ring. The actors were not available for immediate comment. Who is Malcolm McRae?

Malcolm McRae is an actor and a musician. The 27-year-old’s most recent work credit includes a short film called ‘How’dy!’ released in 2020. The actor, who plays multiple instruments, enjoys close to 40K followers on Instagram where he keeps sharing his pictures with the love of his life Anya.
 
Speaking of their relationship, the two reportedly started dating in May 2021. They were first papped together ahead of Anya’s Saturday Night Live hosting gig in May 2021. The couple made their red carpet debut in March 2022 at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty. Anya Taylor-Joy opened up about her relationship with Malcolm in an interview with British Vogue saying the two were “basically 80 years old and seven at the same time,” which “works really well” for them. “I’ve finally found someone who will happily sit in silence with me reading,” said Anya.

Social media users rushed to Twitter to confirm the rumors as many others went in a state of shock. “Anya Taylor Joy got married..?? oh i’m a romantic endlessly obsessed over this.” Another chimed in, “I do not care this is not affecting me at all im fine i do not care that anya taylor joy got married im fine.” One user posted, “Anya Taylor Joy getting married is so weird to me because 26 is definitely child bride age.” An individual asserted, “Anya Taylor Joy getting secretly married to her bf nobody talk to me for at least 3 days.”
