Antonio Brown: Ex-NFL star ordered to be arrested over unpaid child support despite claiming he paid
TAMPA, FLORIDA: Antonio Brown, a retired NFL wide receiver, has been ordered by a Florida judge to be arrested over unpaid child support, which amounts up to $33,260, despite Brown claiming that he has already paid the full amount. The order was given by a Miami-Dade County judge on April 14 after Brown, 34, was said to have avoided making the payments that he was supposed to send to his ex-partner, Wiltrice Jackson, according to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports.
Brown, the 2021 Super Bowl champion, shared a photo of a receipt on his Instagram page on Friday, April 21, which seemed to indicate that he had already paid the five-figure amount to Florida Child Support. "Everyone wants to see me fail that's why I have to be Great!!!," the former Buccaneers receiver wrote on his story.

Antonio Brown allegedly had already paid Child Support
The Broward County Sheriff's Office acknowledged receiving the arrest order, but there is an option for Brown to be released from custody if he pays $30,000. This amount will be applied to the former NFL star's legal case. It is worth noting that Brown and Jackson were never married but they share a daughter and have had several disputes, including custody battles.
Antonio Brown's legal battles
In 2019, Brown was accused of pushing Jackson to the ground when she demanded payment for a hair appointment, but he was not charged over the claim. To clarify, Jackson was denied additional child support in a previous legal battle, and Brown was granted custody of their child.
In a separate incident in 2018, Brown was sued for throwing furniture off the balcony of his Florida apartment, almost hitting a 22-month-old child on the patio below. The lawsuit was settled outside of court. Again in 2018, Victor Prisk, a Pittsburgh-based doctor who had worked with Brown while he was with the Steelers, sued Brown for allegedly "farting in his face" and for unpaid fees totaling $11,500. To add to his legal troubles, Brown was sued for allegedly assaulting a security guard in 2021 at his home in Florida, though the outcome of that case is currently unknown.
In 2022, Brown was again embroiled in controversy after reportedly exposing himself to a woman in the pool area of the Armani Hotel in Dubai. Later that year, in December, Tampa police tried to arrest Brown for domestic violence charges stemming from an incident in which he threw a shoe at his ex-fiance during an argument. In January of the following year, Brown's Snapchat account was suspended after he posted an explicit photo of a woman performing oral sex on him.
