Antonio Banderas' lookalike daughter Stella, 23, turns heads at rare appearance with him at Vanity Fair event
Just like actor Antonio Banderas likes keeping his personal life on the down-low, so does not daughter, Stella. Maybe that is why although she has grown into a beautiful 23-year-old woman, very little is known about her interests or hobbies.
Although she has an Instagram account, she hardly uses it to promote herself or details about her life. For example, the last post on her social media page is from January 31 and it is a photo of a cloth hanging on a mirror to stop it from reflecting sun rays. The rare moments people get to see her latest photos are mostly when her mother, Melanie Griffith, updates her own feed with her pictures.
So naturally, when the 59-year-old actor showed up at the Personality of The Year Vanity Fair Award in Madrid, Spain, on November 25, with his girlfriend Nicole Kimpel and his daughter, the crowd sat up and took notice.
While Stella chose to wear a figure-hugging black dress that featured thin straps, and which she accessorized with a matching black Chanel bag, her father opted for a bow tie tuxedo.
Although Antonio's chemistry with Nicole was clearly on display on the red carpet, it was his connection with his daughter which was the most interesting to watch. The father-daughter duo appeared to share a tender moment when they looked at each other and exchanged a few words with smiles on their faces.
Stella has clearly inherited her father's handsome features and the resemblance between their appearances was striking.
Although not much is known about her personality, according to Hola magazine, she is down to earth, loves her family and interested in fashion.
She has two siblings — Alexander Bauer and actress Dakota Johnson — who share the same mother but have different fathers. Among her siblings, she has always been close to Dakota and both of them continue to go on family vacations and trips together.
Stella is also an advocate for mental health. In her most recent posts, she was seen modeling for the brand Madhappy, which aims to bring awareness and give a platform for mental health conversation.
