Anthony Loffredo, a 33-year-old Frenchman, has transformed his body in an attempt to become a “Black alien”. Loffredo has now gotten two of his fingers chopped off his left hand to form a bizarre claw. Chopping off his fingers is the latest in a series of alterations that the wannabe alien has undergone. He has previously gotten his nose and upper lip cut off, his tongue split, and his entire body covered in tattoos, including his eyeballs. Loffredo, however, said that despite all these alterations, he has achieved only 34 percent of his goal.

Anthony Loffredo regularly documents his disturbing transformation on Instagram. "Saturday Relax before operations have a good weekend everyone. Black alien project évolution 29 %," one of his image posts reads. "My whole life has shown me that if you really want something, if you were passionate enough, it would happen," he wrote in another post. One of the posts reads, "On the other side of the world to continue my project, the procedure is going well, one more dream that it has just come true, thank you for doing your top job, thank you mexico in my heart." Posting a picture of his hand with the fingers cut off, he wrote, "Thanks to the energy...Preparation for the other hand.."

Loffredo's Instagram posts are inundated with comments from people who are both fascinated and horrified with his transformation. "Anyway, our souls will return to where they came from. Everyone. you are no exception. But what have you done useful for others? everything you do is just for yourself," one user wrote. "You didnt come from space though...you already posted a photo of you and your mother (who is human). Its fascinating and pretty awesome to see all your mods but you dont actually think you're an alien do you?" wrote another.

"Why the f*** would you do that to yourself. Was you not happy with the body you was born with," commented one user, while another said, "Great to see your journey. I was wondering.. I see a lot of head and arm mods and implants. How about the legs and the rest.?" One user said, "Wow! I’m curious at what point will these modifications effect your ability to live a healthy life; won’t less fingers hurt your ability to workout and lift weights…like your videos show you like doing".
