Yana Fialkovskaya: Influencer, 47, dies after undergoing boob job, police probe clinic
An 'inspirational' weight loss influencer recently died shortly after undergoing a boob job. Her mysterious death is now being probed by Russian police. Yana Fialkovskaya, 47, was a fitness instructor with at least 70,000 social media followers. She had claimed that she was “scared” about the surgery in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk.
As per reports, Yana, the mother of one child, had been experiencing pains from previous implants. She had even reportedly undergone “corrective” surgery at a top clinic. “She was scared to undergo surgery this time, although this was not her first intervention," said Anna, her friend who attended Yana's fitness classes.

Yana underwent a boob job in 2012 after she lost more than nine stone in weight. She had told her followers lately that she was experiencing some discomfort after undergoing the surgery. Previously, Yana had also undergone plastic surgery to remove excess skin after she lost a huge amount of weight. “She postponed (the corrective surgery) for a long time, although she had a defect that caused physical pain,” said Anna. Yana apparently spoke of certain problems with a blood test before the operation. Back then, she had reacted “very harshly and rudely” to followers who had warned her not to go through such a procedure.
According to an initial diagnosis, Yana had suffered a blood clot in her lung after the operation. The cause of death, however, is now being checked by the Russian Investigative Committee. The Committee is also examining the role of the medics who treated her.
“The circumstances of the woman's death will be established and a comprehensive assessment of the activities of doctors will be given,” said a statement. “A forensic medical examination will be assigned, and documentation (related to the surgery) will be seized.”
Another friend of the influencer said: “Shortly before her death, for some reason, she looked very emotionally at old photos of relatives, and told her Instagram subscribers about relatives who were no longer there and cried very, very much. She said there was nothing more important than family. She also said in her Stories that she was usually not a coward, but she was afraid before the surgery.”
Earlier this year, a Los Angeles woman was left with rotting flesh after a butt and boob job. Sivan Himmelman had three procedures done on herself. The 40-year-old discovered it was cheaper to get the procedures abroad than visit a board-certified doctor in Beverly Hills. She paid $6,400 for all those surgeries that include a Brazilian butt lift, liposuction, and a boob job, all on the same day. However, her quest for a full-body transformation is something she regrets now and feels more "insecure" in her new body than she did before. Experts say her bumpy figure is a result of bad operating.
Himmelman only wanted a BBL initially but decided to get her boobs done after being offered a huge discount. Her consultation was on September 3 and she got the surgery on September 5, 2019. Speaking of her operation, Himmelman said, "I didn’t have much fat so the surgeon performed liposuction on my stomach, back, arms, inner thighs and pelvic area to transfer the fat into my bum.” She was horrified when she took off the bandages a day after her surgery and saw her body had turned black and blue with bruising that ran from the top of her thighs to her chest. Himmelman said things only got worse from there and the bruises and blisters turned into wounds. She came back to America after 10 days from Tijuana, Mexico, where she got the procedure and was diagnosed with an infection.
The bruises turned into liposuction burns when the heat from the laser burns the skin during aggressive fat removal. "My skin went through so many stages – I experienced dryness, rashes, itching, tingling, numbing sensations, and loss of elasticity. Later my skin began to discolor over and I developed keloids, internal painful scars, bumps, and necrosis," Himmelman said.
