Why is Anna Kendrick 'nasty'? New York stylist calls out the actor, Internet has 'never been less surprised'

The stylist also said that she decided following the encounter that she would never support 'anything this chick does'

New York-based stylist, Tahira, known by her TikTok user ID, IAmTahira, opened up about celebrities she has helped in the past, including 'Sex and the City' star Kim Cattrall, 'Game of Thrones' star Emilia Clarke, and 'Pitch Perfect' star Anna Kendrick. While Tahira only had good things to say about Cattral and Clarke, the stylist revealed that her experience with Kendrick was not as great. In follow-up TikTok videos, Tahira then detailed why she found Kendrick difficult to be around.

Tahira says in a TikTok video that Kendrick is a "terrible person," rating her "-100/10." She says in the first of two follow-up videos that her first interaction with Kendrick was in 2016 when Kendrick was on her book tour promoting her memoir, 'Scrappy Little Nobody', the latter had a book signing at the store Tahira worked at, with Tahira being tasked with pulling a few looks for the actress to wear. Tahira says in the video, "She comes, I'm walking her through the racks — she won't speak to me, that's strike one."

Tahira then continues, "I'm asking her, 'do you want to wear pants or do you want to wear a dress?' She won't say anything." Tahira then says that Kendrick turned to her "PR lady" who then asked Tahira to speak outside, following which the PR relayed to Tahira, "If you guys want her to wear a look — $10,000." Tahira then says she got the store's PR team since it was not her decision." 

Tahira then goes on to say that during the event, she had to collect all of Kendrick's fan mail, letters, gift cards, drawings and paintings from fans. When she handed "three bags of fan mail" to Kendrick, the star reportedly said, "I don't look at that stuff," following which her publicist told Tahira to "trash everything."

In the second of the follow-up videos, Tahira says that the fan mail collected by the store's employees was "so heartfelt," and included gift cards to Kendrick's favorite places and that all of the material given by the fans "went into the trash." Tahira says that if fans visited the star on her book tour and they gave her a gift, that they should know that "it went in the garbage." 

Tahira also said that she decided following this encounter that she would never support "anything this chick does". Two years later, Tahira ran into Kendrick again at Barney's. There, Tahira's colleague assisted Kendrick as Tahira was "avoiding her like the plague".

After Tahira's colleague helped Kendrick, she told Tahira that she did not know who Kendrick was, and because of that Kendrick reportedly got "so nasty with" her.

Many on the Internet reacted to Tahira's videos, with one user saying, "never liked anna kendrick for some reason and the tiktoks i saw just confirmed my gut feeling HELP." Another wrote, "I've never been less surprised in my life." A user opined, "A bit gutted to find out Anna Kendrick is a bad knobhead in real life."

However, fans came to the actress's defense, with one writing, "There is not a single mean bone in Anna Kendrick's body. We all have our bad days, anyway, none of us are perfect. I don't believe any of the rumours going around about her in the first place. They are through spite, jealousy, and maliciousness. Anna is kind, humble, and caring."
