Who hacked Anna Kendrick's Twitter and posted offensive remarks? Internet asks if she 'partied little too hard'
'Pitch Perfect' star Anna Kendrick's official Twitter account seemed to have been hacked for a brief period on Saturday, December 12. Starting at 5.26 pm, a series of tweets with offensive words were posted out to Kendrick's 7.2 million followers. Sentences such as "shoutout my n***a james bro" and "funky in this bih n***a" were among the approximately 30 tweets. Apart from that, the website mentioned in her account was changed to "Thug.org". Kendrick's fans immediately realized that her account was hacked.
Around 5.48 pm, all the 30 tweets were deleted and the website on Kendrick's account was changed back to the page of her paperback book of personal essays, titled 'Scrappy Little Nobody'. The book is a New York Times bestseller. As soon as the Internet witnessed the incident, people started talking about it, one user shared a screenshot and said, "Safe to say Anna Kendrick got hacked." While another commented, "JUST IN: anna kendrick has been recently hacked. however, according to inside sources it has been linked and traced back to actress and singer demi lovato’s home in east Hollywood." While another questioned, "Of all the people to f*ck with, why Anna Kendrick? The world is a f*cking cesspool." One Internet user wrote, "Lmaooo I was literally replying to the first tweets of Anna Kendrick's hackers."

While some people bizarrely said, "So I open up twitter and see that my "What's happening" is showing Anna Kendrick and Cremated... and because its STILL 2020... my brain immediately just went there. 2020 you simply cannot f**k off fast enough," and "Anna kendrick is Trending... This is 8th celeb this week, I thought was dead when I saw their name on the right side of Twitter." One claimed, "We’ve done an internal #basta investigation and determined that @Rhino184 did not hack Anna Kendrick. Still waiting to talk to Philip from Madison." Calling the incident "perfect" another one said, "anna kendrick’s twitter getting hacked is the perfect end to my day."
