'Euphoria' star Angus Cloud's ex-manager talks about actor's alleged drug addiction, says he once 'vomited' on his face
OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA: Angus Cloud's former talent manager shared on social media about the 'Euphoria' star's alleged drug addiction. Diomi Cordero's lengthy tweet detailed the actor having an addiction to prescription drugs and recalled to claim that once when Cloud overdosed, he vomited on Cordero's face as he performed CPR.
The ex-managers' tweet talked about the professional relationship he had with the 24-year-old actor that began in April 2021 after the two met in a rehab clinic where the HBO star was a patient. Cordero claimed that he had to hire a publicist and also "acting and fashion agents" as Cloud did not have his affairs in place. The agents "ensured that his SAG-AFTRA account was correctly configured," and helped him "acquire health insurance." Cordero said that "this intervention allowed Angus to regain control of his personal and professional life," reported Page Six.

Angus Cloud 'evidently relinquished control of his addiction'
Following his rehab treatment and his affairs no longer being a mess, Cloud did well at the time. However, the actor who played the role of a drug dealer named Fez in 'Euphoria' was surrounded by his friends after his rehab. They continued their drug use and threatened his sobriety. "Their reckless behavior and lack of regard for Angus’ recovery served as a significant obstacle to his progress,” which then ultimately contributed "to his relapse," the manager claimed.
Two days after he got out of the treatment, Cordero went for a July 4 barbecue at Cloud's home. "Upon entering his premises and attempting to greet him with a hug, it became immediately apparent that he had resumed substance abuse, a mere two days after completing his treatment," he wrote. Over time, the "situation gradually deteriorated" and by November 2021, he had "evidently relinquished control of his addiction."
Anhus Cloud continued drug use at another rehab
Cordero found another rehab facility for Cloud during his second season filming of 'Euphoria.' Cloud refused to stay at the rehab and during his time at the facility, he continued his drug use. A night before Cloud was scheduled to travel to Oklahoma for a film shoot, Cordero claimed that one of Cloud's roommates called him to inform him that he was facing shortness of breath. The ex-manager claimed that he immediately reached the place, administered Narcan, and helped Cloud breathe by performing CPR on the actor. "Regrettably, as he regained consciousness, Angus vomited onto my face," Cordero said. However, Cloud managed to reach Oklahoma City in time for the filming.
The ex-manager claimed that the actor eventually "became extremely abusive," and "had gone to the extent of degrading me publicly in front of his friends & even my colleagues." Later, the actor's manager called the talent manager to inform him that Cloud who was invited to be in Europe to attend a Versace fashion show chose to go with his friends. "Consequently, I resigned from my position that day," Cordero wrote. Cloud was "so high on drugs" and he was allegedly denied to board the flight to Europe.

Cordero claimed that he was offered a settlement by the actor's new management. However, he rejected the settlement. He tweeted, "As a result of my resignation, for over a year, I have been pursuing the collection of my outstanding management commissions from Angus, totaling over $60,000.00. Despite repeated attempts to resolve this matter amicably, I have yet to receive any of the payments owed to me."
"In sharing my story, I hope to not only find solace & healing but to also inspire others who may be struggling to find their voice in an industry where most are silenced. I wanted to be a testament to the power of speaking up and owning one’s truth, even in the face of adversity," he added.
