Angelina Jolie gives Brad Pitt an 'ultimatum' asking him to stay away from Kanye West and the Kardashians if he wants to see his kids
Angelina Jolie reportedly does not like the idea of former husband Brad Pitt becoming friendly with rapper Kanye West.
The actress has apparently warned Brad to stop hanging out with Kanye and the Kardashians. If he doesn't, he would risk severing his relationship with their children, according to a new report by Radar Online.
This comes after Brad made a couple of appearances at Kanye's Sunday Services in the recent past, openly admiring the sessions and also expressing how much he enjoyed the sermons. “It’s a pure celebration of life and people,” Pitt told ET. “It’s really delightful. It really is.”
However, Angelina apparently does not share the same enthusiasm as Brad, and she reportedly loathes the Kardashians and wants to put an end to their blossoming friendship as soon as possible.
“Angelina can’t stand the Kardashian clan and wants her children nowhere near them, and she’s told Brad as much,” a source told the tabloid outlet. “She’s pretty much issued him an ultimatum: It’s Kanye or the kids.”
“She can’t bear their views, politically and otherwise,” the source added to Radar.
Brad's relationship with his children is reportedly strained while he is mired in the divorce proceedings. “Brad can obviously be friends with whoever he wants,” the source said, “but he knows Angie has the power to really mess with him if he continues to see Kanye.”
Angelina has been accused of using the kids to sway public opinion against their father.
Maddox, their eldest son, was recently interviewed about his relationship with Brad after he moved into a dorm at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
When asked whether he thought his father would visit him in college, the teenager did not have an answer. “Um, I don’t know about that... What’s happening [with that],” Maddox responded.
Ever since Brad and Angelina had an altercation on a private plane about Maddox, his relationship with the kids has been rather strained. Furthermore, the couple is currently fighting over custody of the children as they finalize their divorce.
