NIGERIA, WEST AFRICA: Angela Deem catches Michael Ilesanmi off guard when she admits she's thinking about going to Canada to visit a 'crush.' Fans criticize Angela's actions for causing Michael problems with his Instagram while continuing to see another man.

In this week's episode of '90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?', Michael and Angela's feud reached new heights. After admitting to flirting on Instagram in last week's episode, Michael acknowledged during a marriage counseling session that they "still have problems to resolve." "The biggest issue for me is that Angela doesn't trust me," he explained. "She accuses me of flirting with women, yet she still talks to Billy."

He went on, "We've been married for two years now, and I've been here in Nigeria, and she's over there in the States. Due to the distance, there have been a couple of trust issues."

Angela said their troubles arise from his communicating with other women on social media. "He would tell me he loves me, and then he had an Instagram — and I'll prove it — and we had problems in marriage because he is over here talking to women," she claimed. "He does devious stuff. I mean, he has let me down."

Angela then informed Michael that the way he treats her is "really cruel." When the marriage counselor inquired if they had withheld anything from each other, he said, "nothing really," asserting that he had not cheated on his wife. Angela, on the other hand, claimed that she wanted to speak the truth in order to take their relationship ahead.

"I do have something to tell you," she said. "Since we're going to start the slate clean, so I had put a duet — you ever heard of TikTok? — I duetted this guy. They call him, 'The Original Thief of Hearts.' His name is Billy."

"It started out to get attention from you and didn't work, it backfired," she added. "You ignoring me. You know, at that time, I developed a crush on Billy. A TikTok crush. It wasn't nothing big. I don't have no more crush on him. No."

Angela justified her choice to inform Michael about her social media infatuation in a confessional, saying, "I decided to tell Michael about me having my TikTok crush on Billy because we're both going to continue to move forward, we both need to come clean. I just want to let him know, I'm truthful. See, it's not hard telling the truth. It might be uncomfortable, but it's not hard."

In a confessional, she stated that her connection with Billy is Platonic. "Billie is just a crushable man. Just look at him. He's not only good-looking. He's charismatic, but it's a crush," she said. "It's not an affair. And this relationship would have never worked because I love my husband, like you don't just stop loving somebody."

Michael grew even more unhappy when he found that his wife had plans to see her crush in Canada.

"Over the period of the crush, he's become my friend, and he's got kidney disease," she explained. "What he's going through, I wanted to help him, so I told Billy that I will come over and see him."

Michael, on the other hand, assured Angela that she was "not going anywhere," then bashed her idea even more in a confessional.

"It's f---ing absurd. I didn't expect all of this. For her to have a crush on Billy, it's all so uncalled-for, I mean, it's not proper," he stated. "And now if Angela goes to Canada, it's gonna be bad because I'm afraid of losing her to another man." He went on, "But, as mad as I am to Angela, I can't call it quits because I love her so much. But at the time, if I put my foot down, like with the old Instagram, it doesn't work. So, I wanna try a new strategy to get through to Angela about Billy."

Hearing Angela's new plans, a fan tweeted, "Angela just dropped a bombshell!" Another fan couldn't help but notice a change in Michael's accent, "Michael so shocked he was scammed by Angela he lost his Nigerian accent!" Seeing the away Angela played it out, a fan wrote, "It’s almost like Angela felt guilty of her own shady behavior and decided to accuse Michael of the same betrayal." Fans are now demanding Michael get his US visa approved as soon as possible, "Can some one in Immigration do a rush job on Michael's visa so he doesn't have to play nice with Angela much longer?"

Capturing the counselor's reaction to the couple, a fan quipped, "Counselor looking at Angela like: this bitch can’t be for real." Calling out on Angela's actions, a fan wrote, "Michael commented “my person” with zero emojis nothing and Angela screamed so much she lost her voice. But Angela is over here with her “TikTok Crush”, and planned on visiting this man and he’s expected to not be upset?" Speaking on the need of counseling for the duo, a fan tweeted, "I don't understand why Angela keeps saying Michael has hurt her so much and she can't completely forgive him. And only he needs counciling...She is more at fault, not Michael. She never lets him talk and blows up every time. Ridiculous!!!" Looking at Michael's decision, a fan tweeted, "Michael thought bringing in a third party would stop the gaslighting and force Angela to let him speak freely. He doesn’t understand how abusive and controlling people are."
