NIGERIA, WEST AFRICA: Angela seemed to walk away from Michael for good on Sunday's episode of '90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?' after he confessed he had no intention of taking down his social media. Fans criticize her codependency and 'zero self-confidence.'

Michael Ilesanmi and Angela Deem were on the verge of reuniting when he admitted to a significant lie. Angela and Michael awoke after a beautiful night of wedded bliss on Sunday night's episode of '90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?' but it was all a ruse. Michael admitted lying to Angela in order to sleep with her, believing that the sex would put her in a better mood for a difficult talk the next day. Michael's betrayal? He assured Angela that he would finally erase his online presence, something she had been pleading with him to do for weeks.

"I did tell Angela last night that I was gonna take down the Instagram to convince her to be sweet with me," Michael said to the cameras. "But I really don't intend to take it down," Michael stated emphatically, since he relies on the profile to achieve his influencer goals. "Of course, I feel bad lying to her. But I did it because I thought if I could put her in a better mood, then, it will be better to talk to her about keeping my social media," he continued.

Michael brought up the subject on a stroll the next morning, intending to explain to Angela why the profile is vital for his work. "Baby, you know I love you and I care about you, but you need to understand my own opinion," he explained. "I want us to have a double income."

Angela was confrontational right away. "And I told you no," she said. Though Michael promised his wife that he was not using the social network to flirt with other women, Angela could only see the prior 24 hours: Michael had lied in order to indulge in makeup sex, and she was furious. "You knew exactly what you were doing, for you to f— me. All the s— we've been through, this was your masterpiece. You're not that goddamn nice, Michael. You're nice when you wanna be. But when there's something you wanna do, you don't give a f— ."

Michael replied, "It's not all about you. You have a partner now, which is I, myself." Angela conveyed her point of view to the cameras. "How can you love me if you just use me for sex? I feel like a piece of s—," she said. "Like a w—- on the f—ing street that didn't get paid. Prostitutes get more respect than Michael gave me." Angela stormed away, but Michael followed to continue the conversation.

He then provided a solution. "Lets both take our social media down then," Michael said.

"Well, I don't have to take mine down because I didn't betray you," Angela said. "You did all of this to me." Michael spoke to the cameras about Angela's refusal to delete her own accounts. "She won't delete her social media for me," he reasoned, "so why should I delete mine for her?"

Fans quickly took to social media to share their concerns about Michael and slamming Angela in the process: "I'm tired of Angela saying she's "put up with so much" no, Michael has put up with everything. You're an abusive narcissist and you're a manipulation master. He "cheated" b4 yall even met in person. let it GO. & Stop being abusive when you don't get what you want." Questioning how Angela has taken away Michael's independence, another fan wrote: "Who treats their husband like this?! Angela doesn’t let Michael get a job, have any freedom or independence and he shouldn’t ever question her??" Some fans also suspect that this is all Angela's plan to leave her husband: "whatever Angela is accusing Michael of doing she’s doing! She wants to leave Michael and this is the perfect excuse!" On the other hand, a fan wrote how they stopped feeling bad for Michael after he keeps continue going back to Angela: "Michael is okay with the abuse & waking up to this mess every morning so I no longer feel bad for him."

One fan also tweeted how Michael continues to agree to almost everything Angela says motivation of which being him getting a green card: "The fact they commenting together means Michael probably okayed Angela as usual. He’ll be a yes man until he gets his green card." Another fan tried to reason by saying how Michael has trauma bond: "Angela is the biggest narcissist. It makes me sick. Michael has a trauma bond and can't help but go back. The best thing she can do for him is leave him. She's been evil from the start...new body , same shitty ass personality." One '90 Day Fiance' also called Angela out on her self-confidence which results in pushing Michael around: "Angela being this angry about Instagram says a lot more about Angela than it does about Michael. She's either pissed at herself for being w/ a liar & a cheat or she's angry at herself for being so codependent w/ zero self-confidence." Confused as to what Angela wants, a fan tweeted: "Angela wants to make sure Michael is not defrauding her because he asks her for money. But doesn’t want him to work/make money ?!"
